Gearonic gloves

I purchased three pairs of cycling gloves (two Black Forest and one Gearonic). I wanted different colors (red, blue and green). The Gearonic gloves are lightweight and comfortable. They have good pads on the palms, to protect my hands from calluses. There is soft cloth on the back of the thumb to wipe my nose. They are a good value for the cost. Read more

Affordable bike gloves with gel padding

These gloves are lightweight and breathable, with anti-slip palms. Gel padding adds comfort, though durability is average compared to premium brands. Verdict: Good for occasional riders who want basic protection without spending much. Read more

Nice for work outs. adequate for bike ride

I wear them every day when I work out for 1 1/2 hr at the gym. its nice having the fingers exposed. When I ride my bike my hands still get sore and numb but that could be because of the way I ride my bike. They keep my hands warmer and I don't have to peel them off. I have really big hands and they fit very well. I am happy with them Read more

Low price with a corresponding Quality

Not the best quality. After 4 rides (around 40 miles each), stiching is coming apart. Sizing is on the smaller side and inconsistent (bought 2 pairs of the same size - they are different! one is just snug, the other barely fits). As others mentioned, not gel, but foam. I guess you get what you pay for. This is a decent budget option for someone doing short (30-45) minute rides, just a few times a week. It might not be the best option for longer rides/frequent use. I HAVE EDITED THIS REVIEW. After the initial difficulty (I had to stich them up in spots where they came apart) the gloves have held up ok. Good budget option, not great. Read more

Finally

Good fit, comfortable. I can’t really speak about how good the padding is since I ride a recumbent trike and padding isn’t needed. There is padding and I should think it would adequate. One of the most comfortable gloves I have ever owned and very reasonable price. Read more

No gel in pads. Threads ripped immediately.

When I first tried one of the gloves on & then clasped the wrist velcro pull closure to remove it, the threads ripped around the entire circumference of the velcro pull tab. Being a seamstress, I tested the strength of one of the segments of thread by attempting to break it with my fingers. Sure enough, it broke in half with little effort. I’m nearly certain the thread is cotton, which easily decomposes if left damp in high humidity. Thin cotton thread is not strong enough or appropriate for cycling/sport gloves. Secondly, I immediately sensed there was no gel in the palms because the padding squished like thin foam. Upon examining the inside of the gloves, I validated I was correct. Every stitched area that was advertised to have "gel pads" instead had thin foam protruding 2 to 3 mm beyond the stitching. In other words, simple foam, like the kind you would see on wire hangars coming from your local dry cleaners, was sewn into the interior of the gloves - NOT gel. My previous cycle gloves had real gel pads, & the difference was profound. Those gloves had not been expensive either, so there’s no excuse for this rip-off. I have no problem with not having brand name, well-made, fancy gloves. (For example, I would've been willing to hot glue thesse velcro wrist tabs back together.) However, I have a big issue with false advertisement. Read more

Nice glove for the price.

These gloves are comfortable and seem well made. The patches of "gel" on the palm surface have a bit of a non-slip grippy surface, which makes it so you don't have to grip the bars so much. They have a snug fit but are stretchy enough that it didn't bother me. Read more
