We bought this for our RV shower. Installed it last year. We don't have weight in the basket when we are not using the RV, but the suction cups held in place through winter cold and summer heat. still holding firmly in place. Read more
I love this caddy. It is so simply to install, it could not be easier. Yet, it is sturdy and makes a great suction so that it will stay in place. It is large enough to hold three bottles -just don't put too many heavy things in it or it will eventually fall off. The hooks are great for a loofah, or in my case I hang the wet brush I use to comb through my conditioner. It does not damage your tile and is so easy to use. I hate having things on the edge of the tub as they look so messy and this corrals everything neatly in one place. It's a great value for what you get. Read more
Bought two unuts for our shower. 4 in ceramic tiles. Units hold tight and look great. Able to put them at a good height for my wife. Replaced a shelf unit that hung from the shower arm. Read more
I wanted something that consolidated as much of our shower storage as possible to keep the shower clutter free and this did the trick. I paired it with one more soap holder of the same style and they match well and look streamlined. This was easy to install and so far has not loosened or fallen down and I have pumps inside the basket that I do not take out to dispense (so I put some pressure on the basket at every use). Razors do fall out of the little hooks pretty easily but they're small disposable razors which is probably why. This was pricey for what it is (I've seen similar items at home stores for about half the price but not when I needed it, naturally), but it suits my purposes so I'm glad to have it. Read more
This Soap Caddy seems to be working great for me... touch wood..!! The suction cup holds really nice... it's been over 2 weeks and still holding good. Honestly I have textured ceramic tiles & I was skeptical if suction cup product will hold good. However this seems to be working... I did took precaution to install it on the wall opposite of shower head so that the water do not fall directly on the Caddy during start/stop of shower. In addition I am NOT over loading the Caddy. I have one big shampoo bottle a soap and 2 body scrubs. The stainless steel is really strong not cheap at all. Finish and shine is great.!!! Suction cup are shiny too and I expect them to hold at least for 2 years. Over all I am satisfied with the product. Btw... I have ordered another soap basket different style from Gecko-Loc. Read more
This has held up (literally) for about a month now and it works great. It took about 5 minutes to install and the suction power is strong enough to hold 3 regular sized bottles, a large bar of soap and a razor. Seems very well made and if it truly doesn't rust, it's a great buy. One thing thing to consider: the suction cups are 2 3/4 inches round so you must have tiles that are at least 3 inches wide to accommodate them. Read more
Update 8/27/21: No longer sticks. I've cleaned the suction cups, left nothing in the basket, but it won't stay up for more than a be few minutes. I'm changing the rating to 1 star. Old review; Pros: + good suction + holds stuff cons: - I received the wrong model instructions - I received extra parts not needed, with the wrong instructions making it confusing to setup - the actual suction knobs did not fit my rack. I had to set it up awkwardly, but it still works. The actual product is ok. But, they sent the wrong directions and extra parts. Something so simple was made complicated. Read more
UPDATE: 7/5/2020 Still highly recommended. Definitely follow the installation recommendations and it will stay up on your wall! Mine are still going strong and zero issues! I was hesitant to purchase anything like this because these things are known for falling off the wall after you get them installed. I read a lot of the reviews in here and how you install it is KEY. You have to do what others recommend and turn BOTH knobs at the same time so the suction cups work properly and don't fall off. I've had mine installed for about 2 weeks and haven't had any problems. I installed this by myself and it was pretty easy to do. Also make sure you take off the plastic coating from the suction cups or it definitely won't stay. Read more
