Pearls are significantly smaller than the product description. Fell apart after only a few uses.

The earrings look nice. However, one one of the pearls fell off after only wearing them twice within a few weeks of receiving the earrings. I got a replacement sent through Amazon, and I noticed that the second pair was noticeably smaller than the first pair, prompting me to measure them. One pair was 7mm by 6mm and the other was 6mm by 5mm. In one part of the Amazon.com product description, the earrings are labeled as 9mm width x 9mm height. That description is incorrect; these earrings are oblong/ovular rather than a perfect sphere. However, the description elsewhere on the product page, including the picture of the pearls next to the ruler, indicate that the height at least should definitely be 9mm. I understand there will be some variability with pearls, but receiving two pairs with heights of 6mm or 7mm is an unacceptable level of deviation from the 9mm you are promised when you purchase these earrings. Customer service from Gem Stone King was not helpful, and they essentially blamed Amazon for sending the wrong product, even though Amazon does not carry this product in any other pearl sizes. This is on the seller. It seems like they are just counting on people to not notice the discrepancy. Read more
