We had it all charged up before each of these storms and they worked perfectly when the power stopped for from 1 to 13 hours. We plugged in the refrigerator and some lights and never lost a thing. Great product, we just purchased another one for the rest of the house. No gas, no noise, no having to run it outside, it just did its thing perfectly. It is highly recommended by us, J&M Read more

Purchased this after a power outage. I was truly impressed at how well it worked when I had to use it for the first time. I used it to run a fan and charge my phone, and I lasted through the night. Read more

We have lost power due to hurricane Helene. I had a small battery that I was using to keep my reef tank from crashing but it required constant recharging so I bought this Generac thinking that it would last for more hours and I would be able to keep my fish and corals alive. I was so excited when it arrived and quickly went to a friends house that has power to charge it. It worked beautifully for two days. Today after charging it and going to use it again, an alert light came on and it stopped working. after being placed on hold with Generac for half an hour (was hung up on once) they could not resolve the issue. I decided just to return it. Amazon won't let me return it as you end up in a loop of customer service non-answers. The seller won't accept it back as they say Amazon should handle it. I am still without power and also without 1400 dollars. Read more

GENERAC IS DEFINITELY QUALITY. This power pack is something my husband and I (senior citizens) can lift and move where needed. We live in a rural area and it's not uncommon to lose power for short periods..perfect to watch TV and keep electronics charged up or run a fan. Read more

It is well made and well designed. Charging the battery is a longer process than most think, hence they don't discuss that in advertising. With that aside, it works for me because of no fuel, no noise and operation inside buildings. If you limit it to tools, lights, small appliances, etc. it's very good. Just don't expect it to run a major appliance that requires 2300 watt start up; won't happen. Read more

I have been using Generac 22-24Kw whole house generators for years. Recently on the East Coast power was out for 4 days. I was my neighbors hero suppling him with an extension cord to run his fridge, tv, and box fan. For four days there was no interruptions and the Generac once again has saved the day. Needless to say my neighbor is getting a Generac whole house system appraisal/install next week. My purpose in getting this portable unit is to have the ability to use it while mobile at a park, picnic, or as a backup power device to something not on my 200 amp service panel at home. The device comes with 110v charging wire, 12v car battery charging wire, and a solar panel charging wire. (I didn't buy solar). The face plate is well lighted with backlights on the switches when activated and a front panel readout of battery charging rate, battery charged level, and time remaining before empty. Nobody ever complains about having excess backup power available in my world. The price, Prime, and FedEx delivery were all flawless and kudos to Generac for the excellent packaging box that it was shipped in. Note--- Be advised that they simply put mailing and HazMat labels on the Generac box so your porch pirates can see what the contents are. Read more
