NOT an NFC Smart Ring. Read more
Revising my initial negative review. The tag in this device works as designed. It is a high frequency 13.56 MHz chip tuned to the exact frequency as mobile phones however the antenna in the ring is (of course) very small. To get it working, you need to know exactly where your phone’s antenna is and align the ring’s antenna right in the “sweet spot” I programmed a URI/URL to a development site which I can update to redirect as needed for web demos. Changing my rating from 1 (frustrated) to 4 from operator error, nothing wrong with production, but not 5 because the capability and usability is limited by the design. ---- added: Once I found the antenna, my Android test phone picks it up every time, with and without it's case. My iPhone finds it most of the time, but it is much more sensitive to being perfectly aligned and will not work through the (my) phone case. This "works," but as a proof of concept for a production idea, i'll probably use a different tag solution. Read more

I tried using it with NFC tools and wouldn't pick it up with reader app Read more
Just came in the mail, sadly it does not work, guess it's just a ring or broke. Either way not useful for phone or door lock. Read more
Nothing responds to the NFC tag. It’s at least a ring. Read more
