I ordered 5 of these. Two were DOA with clicking sounds. Obviously not a lot of Quality assurance going on here. These drives are identical to the 40GB drives used inside Quantum Go Vault 40GB Removable Hard Drive Cartridges, so I assume they may have been pulled from those. Read more
Installation was easy, just format the drive
Purchased the hard drive to backup financial data and documents so the 40 GB size is more than adequate for the task. Installation was easy, just format the drive, installed it in a NAS enclosure, mapped the drive, all went well. Functions perfectly. Read more
