My 45 lb. bully breed is obsessed with balls. She immediately shreds tennis balls but these balls live forever. I think that the spiky texture helps to clean her teeth and probably massages her gums. I like that the spiky texture helps to keep the drool to the inside so it's not a soggy mess to throw like the tennis balls would be. The bright colors are easy to see in the grass. The squeak is petty loud, but she kills the squeaker quickly so it isn't an annoyance. You can always poke the squeaker with a screwdriver if you don't want to hear it. I didn't notice any offensive odor with these balls. I would buy these again. Read more
