I'm renovating my kitchen in my 114 year old once a sweatshop studio, and my kitchen is black, white and great wallpapers--whitish brick and a varied industrial style vinyl tiles (you can get all that on Amazon too) and my cupboards and floors are red. I ordered black handles and they look great, and this rug is beautiful against my deep red hardwood floor! Also, it stays in place, and I've had it for two weeks and it looks just as soft and clean and nice as it did when I unpacked it. It laid down flat right away, and it STAYS PUT! i HATE it when rugs move, and this one doesn't AT ALL. YAY! I'm saving up now for the smaller one, because this one comes in two sizes.
