I’ve always used Listerine Gentle Gum Care floss (formerly G.U.M) but, hoping to save some money I ordered this one. As a former dental hygenist, I like the way both flosses, when used properly, have separate fibers that expand to remove plaque. This floss passed the test beautifully until I flossed between teeth with restorations, both fillings and crowns. Sadly it catches and shreds when it encounters anything rough. It’s not a good floss for people with restorations and therefore does not save money. The only thing that will get the shredded fibers out is some strong waxed dental floss or tape.
