The welt of this boot has some strange spikey bits on it. (The welt is the top of the sole around the outside of the boot.) they didn’t look that noticeable in the photos, but in person, I didn’t care for it. Read more

It’s a nice looking boot. I previously had the Chelsea boot, and they were really great quality and more comfortable. I noticed that the heel on this boot is already fraying along that heel seam. I don’t think I’ve won them more than five times. The other ones I bought were much better quality. I had them for about 3 years, and I wore them all the time for to work ( and I stand and walk constantly.) unfortunately I can’t return these boots because they’re outside of the time frame because I waited until Fall to wear them. I wanted to love these boots, the reviews suggest it runs snug and the stock pictures also appear small in the ankle, but it was so loose. They remind me of kids trying on cowboy boots, where the heel keeps slipping with every step. Sizing down/bigger socks probably wouldn’t fix the problem because it is loose in the ankle, not the sole. They’re kind of like loose fitting rain boots I guess. Read more

I bought 3 pairs of boots for a trip to Scotland. I didn’t want to love these because they were the most expensive. However, they are the MOST comfortable boots ever. They look cute w leggings, jeans, nicer tailored pants, everything. I wore them to walk 8 miles around the city the first day and I had no blisters or pain. Nice arch support.
