It's not as soft as Kleenex but it's good for many uses. I never use facial tissues but I bought this for my mom who is in bed with a broken leg. It's good for blowing your nose, wiping your mouth when eating, using it as a bib, picking up crumbs, coughing up phlegm, and many other uses. Also the low height of the box makes it easy to pull out the tissues until the end. I don't understand the few nasty reviews that appear at the front for this product; I mean do they do nothing but blow their noses all day? It's just paper, and it's good enough, and for many uses in the household, and Amazon delivers it in a large quantity. No complaints here, thank you. Read more
In these times where paper products are scarce, I took what I could get. They look thin, cheap, and not very soft. They're also not bleached as white as the popular brands. But I'm happy to have them! Then I had the opportunity to use them. They may look thin, but they're reasonably strong. They may not appear to be the softest tissue on the market, but they're really not bad. I typically don't mind bargain tissues anyway. I buy Scotties, or Amazon's own brand. I think the main difference here is how bleached white they are. These are just a little yellower. Functionally though, they're just as good. I didn't blow a hole through them. They didn't leave my nose raw. We have lots of them. Okay, that's good enough for me. Read more
These are decent tissues overall. They're strong and don't "pill". However they're not as soft as "normal" facial tissues. Also, as I've been using these for several years, I've noticed that about 10% to 15% of the tissues are stuck together, and not at all easily separated -- I've notified the manufacturer of this issue, and I hope they resolve it. I've been buying these tissues since the pandemic started, since finding tissues in the quantity I need is next to impossible in the store. I have allergies and chronic sinus issues, so I use a lot of tissues. I was very grateful to find these and they are actually cheaper per tissue than what I was paying for a large big box store's value brand (Hint: rhymes with All-Fart). I'd definitely say they are comparable in quality to those, and they haven't given me a sore nose yet or anything, so I'm good. I also tried one other brand of bulk tissues (Hint: Rhymes with Glamazon) and they were prone to having shredded tissues and lots of tissue "dust", so I went back to these, which have no such problems. If you keep two kinds of tissues handy — soft/expensive* ones for delicate facial use, and rough/inexpensive ones for light cleanups or other unpleasant things you don’t want to waste the soft/expensive ones on, you’ll love these. The lovely green box goes everywhere, unlike some competitors’ ugly boxes! Excellent price. Enjoy. My ratings: 5 for Softness BECAUSE they’re not supposed to be soft, that’s not their purpose! 5 for Absorbency BECAUSE they’re not supposed to be absorbent, they’re supposed to be rough, to do rough work on small cleanups. Sorry if you disagree with my thinking. *The national brand that everyone calls tissues (Kleenex). Read more
Amazon Subscribe and Save substituted this product for our usual order of tissues. We buy paper products, by the case, from Amazon because family members are extraordinarily sensitive to both fragrance and traces of mold, both of which tend to contaminate paper products as they go through warehouses and then retail stores. Although we discarded the carton when it came in, and the product has been on our pantry shelf for a few weeks, we have determined that the tissues inside the boxes are contaminated with both fragrance and mold, albeit at levels too low for the vast majority of people to notice. Product will go to the landfill. In addition, the product is made very unusually for a facial tissue. It is extraordinarily strong, not soft at all, gives off no dust that we can detect, and is too abrasive for our allergic noses. Reminds me a lot of laboratory wipes I used in high school science labs 40 years ago. Read more
box is a little smaller than most US brands but tissues are the same size. Good quality. Read more
I bought these tissues during the pandemic when paper goods were scarce. They’re not the softest tissues but they’re not too scratchy, and they’re very absorbent. I have spring allergies and one tissue does the job whenever I have a sneezing fit. The box design looks like something you’d find in a motel or an insurance office, but they’re good quality and I have them at the ready should we be unable to find tissues and toilet paper! Read more
