I got this to extend a piece on a dress that fit a little too snug, but only had a zipper. I'll be removing the zipper and adding this corset panel. This saves me so much time! I was going to have to create it from scratch. All I need to do now is remove that zipper and get sewing. I buy corset back inserts all the time as I own an alterations business. This corset kit looks to be the same construction and quality as all the others on amazon. It is one of the styles that does not have boning, which sometimes you might want and sometimes not. I got the ivory one, and the color is what I was expecting. The biggest issue with this product is that while the corset kit comes in a pre-determined length, and only one length, the length is barely mentioned far into the product description. The length is one of the most important features a shopper would be looking for before buying a corset kit. By not having the length featured better in the description, I would be hesitant to order it. Yes, it can be shortened if you know what to do, but it can't be lengthened, and the length is very important to know before ordering. Read more
