What a difference this computer monitor stand/organizer has made to this SENIOR CITIZEN'S desk, both ergonomically and organizationally. Storage capacity is excellent, it is very functional for me, and the quality is fine. No wobbles, no hang-ups. Well worth the price. ASSEMBLY It comes unassembled, but after the initial glance at what seemed to be lengthy instructions, I set it aside for a few minutes. I studied the less complex side of the instructions next and it was easy to visualize and complete the rest of the assembly. All parts were packaged and labeled correctly. This stand is a wise purchase for anyone who spends a lot of time using a laptop + monitor set up! This stand was easy to assemble and does not wobble at all. Also, it solved 2 problems in my office: 1. It aligned my laptop to similar height of my monitor, overall reducing the strain on my neck. 2. It helped organize any journals, pens, and other small items to de-clutter my desk. One thing to note -- plan out where your mouse pad is once the bottom drawer is fully extended. I forgot to account for that, so I have placed frequently used items in the open tray (middle area) and my seldom used items in the drawer (bottom area). Read more
Very easy to assemble with tools included. Sturdy and looks great. The shelf and drawer are very useful to store sticky notes, clips, or any small items to clear desk clutter. My Mac sits safely on top and brought it up to a comfortable eye level. It is lightweight, but stable, and doesn’t move around the desk easily. This is a great addition to my very small workspace. The assembly instructions were simple and clear with diagrams. It took just a few minutes to assemble. My laptop is a wider one, but the shelf is wide enough that it is stable when working on it. No rocking etc. The computer shelf has ventilation holes. The feet for the unit can be adjusted if your surface isn't quite level. The drawer slides easily and is roomy and plenty of depth for pens, pencils, scissors etc. The finger indention is big enough for larger fingers to reach in and pull open the drawer. The mesh construction allows that pesky dust and other stuff that seems to build up in a drawer to fall through. That means wiping under the unit sometimes, but that beats trying to clean out drawer corners. The shelf between the top and drawer as a lip to keep things from falling out and is tall enough for several notebooks or a good sized book. Bonus: Having my laptop elevated is helping my neck from being continually over stretched from looking down. I can't speak to the longevity. So far, it works perfectly for my needs. Read more
