I chose this frame after reading reviews of other wood frames where the center beam/support was actually made of metal, and on those styles the center beam/support would buckle when weight shifted toward the center of the bed. I decided an all-wood frame would be a better solution for my family (especially since we have two dogs and a toddler who like to jump up onto the bed and jump around). The frame arrived without dings or dents, and all parts were included--there was even a bag of extra hardware, just in case. My husband and I laid everything out on the floor and between the two of us (and an extra allen wrench), we were able to assemble the whole frame in under half an hour. The frame itself is very sturdy without being too heavy (I can still slide the whole bed away from the wall to make changing the sheets easier). The wood all seems to be good quality, and it has a very nice finish (I almost feel bad about screwing brackets onto it when we eventually add a headboard). Be aware that there is no lip around the edge of the frame, and a mattress will sit flush with the sides. There are sticky patches on the frame slats to help hold a mattress in place. So far, the only problem I've had is with the center legs on the outside edges of the frame. Our old frame didn't have them, so I keep forgetting it's there, and I've whacked my toes more than once. (It's not really the fault of the frame, but nobody trusts a review that says nothing but good things.) I like the frame, I like the price, I like the quality. This frame is excellent. High quality materials, well designed, simple, economical, and environmentally friendly. I do a lot of DIY projects, but I don't think of myself as 'handy'. All of the parts fit together easily. Screws match the screw holes and sleeves perfectly, a rare event. The rubber tree wood is strong and hard, and is harvested at the end of life of trees grown to produce rubber sap. And it is attractive. The frame does exactly what it was intended to do, and does it well. My only caveat is that I would prefer to have small side rails to lock the frame in place. There has been no problem, but it would be a good feature. Great purchase for me. Read more

Nice bed, but I accidentally ordered a full. I am disappointed, but I guess I wasn't paying attention. I bought it on prime day, so I got a good price. My husband had a bunch of pieces put together and m6 daughter noticed it was smaller than her mattress. Oh well! Instead of boxing it back up, I gave it to someone who needed a full size platform. So it will be used, and I don't have the hassle of returning it. It went together pretty easily. My husband said some of the screws did not line up exactly, but he was able to assemble is quickly. He has become a pro at assembling furniture 😁. The wood was a warm light cherry color. Quite glossy. A little redder than the headbaord that we already have, but it still went with it. My daughter's headboard is more of a pecan color. The legs seemed sturdy, as did the entire frame. I am not sure about the slats, hopefully, the person who ended up with it likes it. One star off for the screws, I think it should be half a star, but that's not available. Read more
So far so good!! Color- Espresso Size- King I had a metal platform bed from target previously that was $110. For twice the price, I absolutely got a huge upgrade. The wood is solid. Its heavy, its sturdy, and had a way nicer finish than I was expecting. The box absolutely takes 2 people to lift. You could open it and seperate the parts out if you're alone. It took me 40 minutes to assemble alone (I was moving slow and talking to a friend on the phone, could have been quicker). The instructions suggested laying everything out first to make sure all of the pieces and parts were there, so i did that. There were no scuffs or marks on the wood at all!! I was so impressed. It was shipped with a lot of Styrofoam to help protect the pieces and you can tell it worked. I was attracted to this bedframe because it allows for storage underneath and didnt have many support legs. I noticed someone gave less stars because they dont understand how support legs work. Without weight on the bed, the support legs do not need to be activated (touch the ground) they touch with weight. The cross sections come in two sections, which makes it easy to roll it out and adjust. The bolts lined up perfectly with the female eyelets or whatever they are called. Was easy to screw and hand tighten. I think this has to be the best bed frame for the price on Amazon right now. I got the darkest color (Espresso) to match my floor trim and its a perfect match.
