These are exactly what I want in leg warmers. They are stretchy and warm and can be worn up past the knee or below the knee. I like the rumpled look so I tend to wear them just below the knee. If I pull them up as high as they possibly go on my thighs though, I can tell their max width is 20 inches around. I don't think they'd do well beyond that.
