Great addition to my morning routine
The ad listing says "dishwasher safe" but hand washing is recommended. Before I used this mug, I naturally washed it...in the dishwasher. Not good, the blue coating discolored. (note: Cascade was the detergent used). That said, this mug is surprisingly well insulated. After 20 minutes (without the lid) the temperature fell by 24 degrees. So keeping a hot temperature is really good. I'm unsure if the dishwasher had any effect on the insulation, but doubt it. Bottom line; if you DO NOT put this in the dishwasher, it is an outstanding mug and keeps my coffee hot for a long time. Read more
