I bought this product worked great out the gate. Switched to a shorter ethernet cord and had issues. I have 1000mbs upload and download. Switching cords i was getting 6-7 mbs for both. To solve this u shut down computer and unplug and repluged in power supply to product. It went back to 1000 mbs per second. Tested again with power on adapter switched cords again went dowm to 6-7mbs again. Repeated turn off computer and adapter. Back to 1000mbps so this seams to be a common problem if switching cords while adapter is powered on Read more

Purchased on Oct 22nd and today is Feb 5, 2026. It worked like a charm out of the box and for a total of 4 months I've had it, providing almost 1 Full GB to each one of my computers, Laptop and desktop. Today it decided to stop working and will not transmit any signal but is still powered and acting as if it is working. I have switched ethernet cords, replaced ethernet cords and then I directly plugged the ethernet cord into the wall, to ensure my internet at house is working and ran multiple speed tests, and I am getting full strength direct from the wall. Seems, like this a common occurrence for these types of splitter devices based on the reviews. Used this to connect ethernet cable to two computers. It works for me. This unit requires a plug in to an electrical outlet. Also, you might want to consider buying the 4 plug unit for a couple of dollars more...you never know what might change your needs. Item arrived on time and in good condition. Would recommend.
