I had my doubts when I first saw how much smaller these lights were compared to others I'd purchased. They're small, but are very bright ☀️ I am amazed at how much light each one puts out. Update after several months: for the price, they are still worth it, however, they aren’t shining as bright and two sometimes don’t seem to glow more than a dim nightlight. It is possible that the solar components on top have been clouded by morning dew and hard water stains. I will wipe them down with some dish soap and water, or just some vinegar and see if the original brightness returns. Still love the design. Still giving 5 stars. I shopped around A LOT and these seemed to be what I was looking for. Only improvement would be to be made of metal or something a bit more heavy duty but I don’t mind the plastic really. Assembly was a breeze. They come with batteries in them, you turn on the switch and they immediately turn on. I put together about 4 at a time in assembly line fashion: unpackaged from bubble wrap, turned on the switches on all, twisted on the light cover, pushed on the post, popped on the stake (the spike stake is IN the post FYI). They had a small amount of charge right out of the box but I wasn’t expecting I would see full effect until full charge in the sun. I got the warm option and also ordered the cool for different vibes throughout the yard. I feel like warm is inviting and relaxing, good for landscaping and edging the walkup, and I wanted to do the cool for darker paths in the yard where we need to see a bit brighter. The brightness is better than I expected but not too much. The prism/star/lotus type cast shadows they throw out is AMAZING! The pattern looks great on all types of textured: rock/paver/grass/bush as well as giving a cool depth effect to just a pile of rocks against the fence. I am seriously so happy with this purchase! I for sure will update if anything else happens but I already had a neighbor walk by and compliment them. If you’re still reading this, go ahead and just give them a try, you can always return them if they’re not what you want but for me, this is nearly EXACTLY what I was going for. Read more

One of the lights has a defective switch that doesn't lock into the on position. Very low illumination feature on the other seven lights is insufficient. Read more

I bought these a year ago- I was extremely satisfied with the quality, light duration and brightness for the first 7ish months. But now at a year of owning them - half of them don’t work at all & the ones that do work, the brightness is half of what it used to be. They have been placed in the exact same spot this whole time so I know they are getting adequate sunlight because they worked perfectly for 7ish months. I have cleaned them to make sure the solar panel is able to get sunlight perfectly. this did not improve them at all. Read more
