These pants are just as described. They are very warm and have a deep soft furry pile inside. Yes, even the pockets will keep your hands warm, even though the pile is not on the inside of them. I can easily fit my cell phone and other stuff in the pockets! So they are a bit bulky in the front but I wouldn't change that at all. Don't expect a fashion statement from these. They are very comfortable. I normally wear a medium but the large fit me perfectly. The only thing I would ask for is another inch longer. Read more
The rise is long like men's pants. Which is what you look like when you sit. Even worn as high rise the crotch still hangs a good 2" or so. Other than that these are great. Very warm and well made. The fabric is soft and durable. They do shrink 1 and 1/2 inch in length only when machine washed and dried on normal cycles. (The first wash only.) I have never noticed any shedding from the inside, and haven't had any pilling on the outside. Pockets are a good size that you can actually put things in like your hand and phone! Fabric is wind resistant which is great for dog walking on cold days. I'm 5', 6" and 130 lbs. I got a medium for a relaxed fit and I'm happy with it, Probably could have gone with small but then it would be too short. These pants are like being able to wear a blanket all day. So warm and cozy! Too bad the rise is so long and unflattering or I'd have more. Plus they've held up so well for two years of many wearing and washing. Read more

I can't believe how awesome these pants feel. I hate taking them off. I am 5'2" 120 lbs and I got a medium. After washing in warm and drying on high, they fit good except the waist is huge. The drawstring helps but I wish the elastic was tighter. There is also room for leggings if desired. Plenty of extra room in the butt if you have one :) The small would have been too short. And I wish they weren't so high waisted (dragging in the crotch if I don't fold over the waistband). I recommend these to anyone who loves soft and cozy and OMG warm! Read more
