Refreshed the JBL Creature with this. Being picky, but I feel like the mids aren’t pushed as much with these compared to stock. I know these are tweeters, but since the creature only has a sub + tweeters, kind of have to rely on these to get the mids out. Regardless, decent dynamic range for the size and the creature sounds good all things considered. If you’re planning on doing this, you’re gonna have to trim the plastic inside the casings. Honestly, you can not use the plastic inner casing if you want. Read more

These tiny speakers has a lot of bass and will definitely vibrate without a proper enclosure. I was surprise...so far it sounds great with a dfplayer mini...a little distorted at high volume but don't think that's the fault of the speaker... Read more

It's crazy to think what 5watts can do compared to this 3watts. Sounds great, but has no bass like a cheap speaker you'd by for 10 to 20 bucks. Overall. It's worth the price for what it is. Would recommend if you need some tweets. This will hold for now til I get the 5 watts. Read more

I like these speakers. I bought them as a replacement of "tweeters" speakers on the car front doors situated by the side mirrors. Before purchasing these, I bought boss tweeters for about $10 but those were so crisp they hurt my ear. These on the other hand are PERFECT! They're a very good balance between mid range and tweeters. The sound comes out clear, loud enough for a car audio and crisp enough as well. Soldered them to existing wiring and voila! The price is unbeatable. Highly recommend! Read more

I soldered 20 gauge wire and attached Dupont pins to each speaker. They worked great with the DFPlayer and the MP3 TF card U drive player. Neither player was able to drive them into distortion levels. They handled the volume right up to the limit of the breadboard power supply (the kind that snaps into the top and bottom rails of a breadboard). The amplifiers on both the DFPlayer and MP3 Player want more power than that supply can provide. But no problem for the speakers. Read more
