These are nice-looking boxer briefs with a wide waistband and an inseam on the shorter side. The thin, light spandex material is way less stretchy than ones from places like Duluth Trading, so it makes this a tighter fit. It's not uncomfortably tight, just more of a sausage-casing feel from the outside since it's tighter on the leg (and the crotch is a bit...snug). The wide waistband looks nice and you would THINK that makes it more stable and less likely to roll, but I found these MORE likely to roll than my Duluth Trading ones that have narrower waistbands. I don't know why that is, but it seems counter-intuitive. The seam work on these is nice, and I didn't find the seams scratchy, so that's a bonus point. Overall these are just ok. I like Gildan as a brand. I think they make high quality clothes, especially shirts. This is the first underwear Ive ever gotten from Gildan. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size, so they don't really fit me very well at my current weight (I am XXL but accidentally ordered XL). I can still get them on, but they are quite tight. Having said that, I am reviewing with this in mind and not factoring in fitment. The cloth used is synthetic but is thick. Its not paper thin like other brands, but its not overly thick either. The stitching is very robust, so I think it would be very difficult to tear these at the seams. They seem to be well proportioned given the fact that the pairs I have are universally 1 size too small in the waist, legs, and crotch. Since I cant wear them all day, I cant assess breathability. They are nice looking boxer briefs, and I really like the quality. The price point is very reasonable too. So I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for a new brand. Ive only ever had good experiences with Gildan. They truly care about the products they produce. Read more
