I have been using Gillette products since my teens, and I am sticking with them. This razor is the greatest, with a strong micro pulse, that makes your shaving experience a pleasant one, and tackles my tough stubbles. I am currently 68 years old, and started shaving, early, at the age of 13. My mother bought my shaving supplies at that time, and she chose Gillette. Soon after my 14th birthday, I began making my own selection of shaving gear, and I stayed with GIllette. I have had a few times, where I tried other shaving products, and each time, I was completely disappointed, and concluded that I was already using the best, so why try anything else?? This micro-pulsing razor is very strong, helping to cut your stubbles, with ease. I haven't always used the micro-pulse razor, as they didn't come out until much later, but it is a great razor. It uses a AAA battery, which only needs changed about every 2-3 months. Great, clean, baby bottom smooth shave, each and every time. Gillette's blades last a lot long, too!! I have been using the Fusion razors since they came out, Mach 3 before that, and probably whatever fancy Gillette razor preceded that one. I have several earlier versions of the Fusion, but wanted one more for my travel kit. This one shaves just as well as the others (same excellent blade), but the user experience is a dramatic step down from previous versions. This handle is entirely plastic where the older ones were partly metal, and its girth compared to the previous ones I own is like using a fat magic marker (this one) rather than a Blackwing pencil or favorite ball point pen (my previous Fusion handles). Or maybe like playing with DUPLO blocks versus regular LEGOs. Or like the look of a sports car vs. a Ford Econoline van. (I'm exaggerating some. The Magic Marker vs. Blackwing pencil analogy is the most apt.) In summary: this razor handle is disappointing. It's light, unbalance, unwieldy, and much less of a 'top shelf' feeling product. All that said, Gillette still makes the blades that both gently and most effectively shave my particular face. Read more

BEEN USING THESE FOR YEARS. WE KEEP HIS AND HERS IN THE SHOWER WHERE WE HAVE MOUNTED THE PLASTIC CRADLES THAT THEY SNAP INTO ON THE WALL. VERY CONVENIENT. I AM THE “HIS”. I HAVE A TOUGH BEARD THAT GROWS SEEMINGS IN ALL DIRECTIONS. BEFORE THIS RAZOR I WOULD NICK MYSELF OFTEN AS I CAME AT IT FROM VARIOUS ANGLES. This one, with the articulating head never cuts me no matter how I twirl it around my face. The vibrating feature really does seem to give a cleaner cut with less drag. Blades last a long time. Only one design flaw…the button on the middle, top of the grip that turns the vibration on and off is in exactly the wrong spot so that when I adjust my grip for an up stroke the button gets pressed . A small but un-necessary annoyance. A twist switch at the END of the handle where the battery goes in would be so much better. I will, though, continue to buy and use this product for the foreseeable future. Read more

This is one of the best razors out there for 10 bucks! Battery powered so it runs like an electric razor, shaves that much better. A guest took the one I used to have and I finally got myself a new one and I love it. The new one comes with the AAA battery needed and 1 razor head.
