Listen here, pal, lemme tell ya somethin’. I had this last-minute gig at work, see, a Halloween shindig where the theme was the 1920s, and I figured I’d go full Peaky Blinders. Now, I’m a husky fella—5’7”, built like a barrel with a bit of a dad belly—and I ain’t gonna lie, I was sweatin’ bullets about how this outfit was gonna fit. But lemme tell ya somethin’, this here costume? Fuggedaboutit! It was fantastic. I usually wear an XL, sportin’ a 46 or 48 jacket, and this vest? It hugged me just right. Like it was tailor-made by Alfie Solomons himself. The fit? Perfect. Now the cap, well, that was a bit snug on my noggin. I wear a large-extra-large usually, and this one was a bit tight. Coulda been a little roomier, but hey, we can’t all be perfect, can we? The pocket watch and the pipe? Nice touches. Though, let’s be honest, a pipe in the workplace? Classy, sure, but if I wear this again for Halloween, I’m goin’ all in with a cigar—now that’s how a real Shelby would roll. But, y’know, didn’t seem quite right for the office. Now, let me tell ya, to complete the look, I snagged some elastic sleeve stays—just like Tommy Shelby would wear, y’know what I’m talkin’ about. Those things? Well, I’m not just keepin’ ’em for this costume. They’re comin’ out for any occasion where I wanna keep my sleeves just so. Bottom line, if you’re lookin’ to step into the world of Peaky Blinders and knock the socks off your office crew, this costume’s the real deal, cap fit aside. We had a Great Gatsby event and ordered this for our son. It fit exactly as expected and was a huge hit! I especially like the vest and cap, I felt like they were good quality. The accessories, however. Looked very cheap, which is why I took away a couple of stars. He didn't really need the accessories, but is shown here with the fake cigar and pocket watch. They are a nice touch just for a photo. He has worn the vest and cap several times and it held up. I would say for a fun night on the town or for A. Gatsby themed party it's great!
