My 4 year old hates it when her undies go in her bum. She seems really happy with these. They're not super tight (I sized up as recommended) but that doesn't bother her. The waistband has actual elastic inside of the fabric, which is different than most underwear. Again, she doesn't mind. I got tow prints (melody and sweet girl) and some of the little bows are already coming loose. They could've been left off I think. These serve well under dresses too, if modesty is a concern for you. That wasn't a criterion here, but I know some look for that. These are true to size and I’ve noticed that my seven-year-old reaches for these before her other pairs. I like that the material is in fact cotton, and is breathable and durable as a result.
