I bought these for my 4 year old because she likes to be naked and maybe that's our fault for letting her run around naked all the time but I had to explain to her that she is a big girl and she can't be naked anymore. We started with regular undies for girls and she refused to keep them on. She would wear them while we went out but as soon as we got home she took them off. And we are trying to overnight potty train her and we want her to wear undies instead of diapers because she is too big for diapers they like barely fit lol so I bought these and man oh man these were a life saver!! They are soft and stretchy!!! I had a feeling she would like boy shorts underwear better and she does. She wears them all the time now. We even got her to go to sleep in them and she didn't pee the bed. So hopefully this continues to go good. But if your daughter is more into boy shorts and you don't want to pay a lot of money for them but you want to get a decent quantity and something soft and stretchy then definitely buy these! As for size I think they are just a tad bit bigger not much at all and I bought a size 6 because my daughter outgrew a size 5. I feel like if I would of downsized they would have been too snug. So if your okay with it just being just a little big then get your child true size but also remember they stretch. I did true to size and they don't fall off or aren't too wide at the top or anything like that maybe in these my daughter might of been a size 5 and I up sized her but I rather then be a little loose and stretchy than too tight. It's up to you. I'm not gonna lie and say they are true to size because it isn't exactly true to size but if you get the size your kid is and don't down size or up size then your child will be fine and comfortable. The pics and description do not begin to adequately describe these panties. They are perfect. In every category. My granddaughter had one word for them: woooow. This underwear fits my 7 yr old perfectly! Does not ride up or shrink in the dryer. Cute designs and very soft, even after multiple washes.
