Great trash bags. This is a bargain price compared to what you would pay in the store. These are very effective is combating trash can odors. Nice pleasant scent, not over powering. Very durable, perfect thickness, great quality, very easy to tie, easy to open, and helps keep the trash area clean. Read more

It's a trash bag. Not sure that it's odor controlled or not. I use it for elderly persons diapers. So maybe it works because the smell is not that bad when the trash can opens up in the bathroom. They don't break apart which is a plus! Read more

Just as promised. Glad makes a good product. Cheaper bags always break, split or leak. It is well worth the money because you get what you pay for. Buying a cheap bag saves you no money if it leaks all over the place! Don't be a tightwad and uninformed, be smart and reasonable. You won't be saving money if you stain your rugs. I hope this review helps. Read more

Very good quality and super strong, which I like, but it's difficult to fit around the top/opening of my 8 gal trash bin. It works if I really stretch it, but then it's challenging to remove at trash collection time. I like that the bags have drawstrings, but when you tie them closed it doesn't fully close the opening. Overall, I like the quality of the bags but ended up buying another brand for an easier fit and full closure when tied closed. Read more

Today, I want to talk about important things. Specifically, I’ll be discussing Glad’s drawstring trash bags. When we talk about such basic items, the essence often lies in the details. The first detail is how easily the bags tear off the roll, as it’s often not that simple. As you might have guessed, these trash bags passed the tearing test with flying colors. Next are the drawstrings. It often happens that the drawstrings simply tear off when you try to tie them. However, in this case, they are quite durable, and I have never encountered such an issue when sealing a trash bag. In terms of size, they fit small to medium-sized trash cans perfectly. Although I tested them for tearing by hand, I’ve never had any problems with heavy waste. This is not surprising since we’re mainly talking about kitchen waste. The bags are fragrance-free, which is neither good nor bad; in any case, no smell can mask trash if you haven't disposed of it in a timely manner. Overall, I can confidently recommend these trash bags to anyone looking for a convenient and reliable solution for their trash can. A solid choice! Read more

This 8 gallon bag might have been able to stretch onto my 8.6 gal basket, but since the drawstring isn't flexible at all, it takes a superhuman effort to get the bag's lip over the basket's lip. Instead, I usually cut the drawstring, then the bag rips a little at the top when I stretch it onto the 8.6 gal basket, but it's good enough to keep from wasting the purchase of these bags. For this photo, I worked up a sweat, and it was the first time I ever got the drawstring over the lip of the basket. As usual, the bag started to rip at the top, anyway. Sorry it's not a match, because the bag is so good. (Except for the environmental issues about purchasing plastic garbage bags, but what can you do?) The bag always rips at the top when the basket is too big; duh. But after that exercise, it doesn't rip anymore beyond that, so it's self-limiting. I find the bag's plastic is plenty strong for the kitchen, but maybe not for carrying masonry supplies. The drawstring eliminates the need for tie-wraps, even if you cut through it with a scissor. My next purchase will a bag that says "8 to 11 gallons," or something like that. I hope it'll be as good as this bag. These fragrant-free bags have no scent. Read more

The bags themselves are fine, but be careful if you are sensitive to smells. I had a pretty serious allergic reaction to them. (My fault for not looking closely enough and ordering the scented.) Read more
