Love the color and fit of this striped sweater from Glamaker. The stripes are not solid, as they have a bit of color variation due to a kind of Fair Isle knit (but with stripes instead of geometric shapes), so this is giving off distinct “Nordic ski sweater” vibes without dipping into “ugly sweater” territory. It’s really a beautiful combination of blues (denim, navy) and white. It’s generously sized, so you can wear it over a shirt, but it’s soft enough that you don’t have to. The sleeves were only a little bit long, which is typical for me because I size up when ordering tops. The cuffs are double length though, so they are easy to roll over once and still look quite finished (maybe even purposeful). It washed well in a mesh laundry bag on a regular cycle in cold water, and I dried it in a cool tumble dryer. It retained its shape well, having neither stretched nor shrunk. There were no loose threads or pilling either. Soft, comfy, and warm, it’s easy to wear all day. It would be a great sweater for any fall activity. Read more

This is a nice sweater. it isn’t a heavy yarn, tight knit or meant for super cold weather, but nice for a lightweight sweater. The cuffs and bottom do not have a great shape to them; they are pretty straight in shape. The sleeves are plenty long and I am able to cuff up the sleeves and they are still long. The length of the sweater, on me at 5’4”, is beyond my pants waist so it can be tucked if you want or hang loose over your waistband. The knit is not loose, but not super tight and the yarn is a lighter smaller yarn so the entire sweater is lighter and not going to keep you super warm in cold temps. Overall, I really liked this sweater for the price. The color scheme I chose reminded me of an old school pattern you would have seen in the early 2000s at a lot of preppier stores in the mall. Yes, I'm showing my age. My biggest issues were the sizing and shaping. I selected an extra large because I wanted an oversized look like the models. I think I should have just ordered my regular size and I would have achieved that. The material is not super stretchy or soft, but at the wrong size it just looks really dumpy. Order your regular size and I think you will be happier with your purchase. I've washed the sweater twice and had no issues with the quality of it shrinking, piling, or loose strings. Read more
