I see other reviewers have mentioned using these as an adult and I'm no different. I thought these would be great for the grandkids when they visit and want to play spa-day and actually get some benefit from their play. They worked great for that - but I figured I should try them out first so I knew how they worked and could use self-heating eye masks from time to time myself. They fit great and were very comfortable on all of us who tried them - from 9 to adult. These start to heat when exposed to air - you can't put them back in the bag or seal them up and stop the reaction once exposed to air though - so be ready to use it. They heat up pretty quickly and reach a decent temperature without being too hot, but I do recommend double checking each one on the kiddos as some are warmer than others. It says moist heat but I didn't really find it to be moist, especially when my eyes were particularly dry - I can amp up that effect by applying some artificial tears (to my eyes as intended) before putting on the mask though. They're really easy to use but it was a teeny bit confusing on the 1st one. Open the individual package and unfold the eye mask that's folded in half. There's a thin layer that's not attached but is cut the same size as the mask and may not be obvious that it lifts. Raise that layer up from the mask a bit and separate the halves down the middle - it's perforated. Then, if you stretch those two sides outward, the ear slits will open on their own but you might want to help them along if they're being stubborn. I found it helpful to pull the sides out and stretch them a few times to kind of start wearing down the elasticity a little helped with the fit for my adult head but wasn't necessary at all on the younger kiddos - and securing it when the loops vs just laying it over my eyes while reclined really really helped the efficacy. The mask part seems very durable, but the ear loops rip out of the perforated bit just a little sometimes - since they're disposable and only need to make it about 20 minutes though, it's not a big deal. Used this as a gift for a baby shower! Here is what I like: 1. Kid-friendly Design- Gentle warmth that’s safe for delicate skin and little faces. 2. Convenience- No microwave or prep; just open and apply — great for kids who might not sit still for heating steps. 3. Soothing & Relaxing- Helps with dryness, puffiness, irritation, or tired eyes after screens or play. Works well as part of bedtime or quiet time routines. 4. Trusted Concept- Based on the idea of warm compress therapy, which many eye care pros recommend to help soothe eye irritation and improve tear film comfort (gentle warmth can help). Read more

Okay, a little confession, these self-heating eye masks are perfect for me (an adult). They perfectly fit my eyes with no issues, however my face is on the narrow side. They are extremely comfortable and self soothing. They are extremely effective with helping me relax after a long day, or just when I want to pamper myself. There isn’t any excessive moisture to run down my face because they are self heating. I love them! They are an excellent value for the cost! I highly recommend these to kids AND adults! Read more

I needed something simple to help my daughter rest her eyes after online classes, and this self heating eye mask ended up fitting into our routine without any effort. I open a packet and it starts warming on its own, so I do not need a microwave or warm water, and she can put it on by herself when she feels tired. The heat builds in a steady way and stays at a calm temperature, and because it has no added fragrance or preservatives, it does not irritate her sensitive skin. She likes using it before bed or after reading, and the warmth helps her eyes feel less dry and reduces the puffiness she sometimes wakes up with. Since it is a one time use mask, I can put a few in her backpack when we travel or when she has long school days, and she is willing to use them on her own, which makes eye care much easier for me. It was recommended that I try a heat mask to improve my dry eye problem but I haven't had much luck getting it to the perfect temperature. I either get the mask tooI have since used a warm washcloth which is good for getting moist heat but only lasts for 5 or 10 minutes. Currently, I am using eye wash wipes and lots of drops but the eye doctor says I still need to put heat on my eyes for 15 minutes each night. I am looking for another heat mask that I don't have to put in the microwave and for it to stay warm for at least 20 minutes. I ordered a generous pack of 30, Disposable, Self-Heating Warmy Winks Eye Mask, for Kids and Adults from the GlamBaby Store. This Heated Warm Compress for Dry Eyes, Irritation & Puffiness are sized just right for kids AND adults. When I ordered these, I was not hopeful and thought I might have to write a negative review because I had not heard of such a product. I AM surprised and happy to say that these masks ACTUALLY WORK. The warm up fast and provide relief from dry, burning eyes and help me to relax. I don't know how it does it, but, to use .... I open the mask, spend 5 minutes getting ready for bed, ear buds and audiobook ready.... and then put on a perfectly heated eye mask. NO KIDDING... and the masked stayed warm for 30 minutes! I don't know how by just opening the mask and exposing it to air that it can do this, but it does, and does it well! I cannot wait to show the eye doctor what I am using.... I doubt she's ever heard of this product. The biggest 5 stars, ever, go to my most favorite find yet.... the Disposable, Self-Heating, Warmy Winks Eye Mask for Kids and Adults from the GlamBaby Store! Read more
