There is no seal around the straw area - at the same time you would not want that because the current glass straw is perfect for it. Overall: These glasses are a good buy, especially for the price point. These are perfect for the holidays as classics lemonade, margaritas, bubble tea, etc., looks great in them. These are glassware you place in your dining buffets or glass door cabinets. Just make sure you remember it is glassware. I have been on the hunt for the perfect iced coffee tumbler for a while now, and so far this is the closest I've gotten. The glass is very sturdy and hefty, which I like. It gives it the feeling of quality. It's also a nice looking glass and is easy to clean. I like that it has a sip lid, in fact thats why I bought it. I don't like using straws and I need a good lid to keep the cold foam from getting all in my mustache when drinking. I also like that the step up in width above the rubbed section is not gigantic, I don't like the ones that go from skinny to super wide like a Stanley cup or something, I think it's ugly but this is more tasteful. The things I wish were different: It has a plastic lid. I've been scouring the internet for something exactly like this but with a glass lid instead of plastic, but apparently that doesn't exist. I wish it was 2-4 oz bigger. It's a decent size but I can only have about 12 oz of coffee in here along with ice and cream and whatnot. The lid opening cover it has is weird. I don't really get the point of it since it just comes completely off and doesn't swivel or flip up or anything. Oh well, I just have it removed and I don't plan on ever using it. I wish the lid opening was bigger. It's enough to get cold foam through but I wish I would be able to fit a boba straw in there if I wanted to since I want to make boba drinks as well. Read more

Let me start by saying I adore these tumblers. I struggle to make my coffee at home (Starbucks is just easier sometimes, okay?) but I’m really trying to do better. I bought these to romanticize my life and motivate myself to be more budget-conscious. I spent a lot of time researching the right size, shape, material, and weight of the cups I wanted for my lattes. They are amazing! The perfect size for how much coffee I wanted them to hold, and also to fit in my car cup holders. The glass is thick and NOT flimsy. I drink my coffee pretty fast so I don’t know how long ice would last if I just left my drink on the table, but it doesn’t seem to melt too quickly. My only concerns are 1) the straw is also glass and I feel like I have to be super careful taking it out of the cup to clean it because it clanks like it’s fragile when though it is thick too, and 2) the rubber rings in the lid seem to collect small mold spots faster (within a day or two if I don’t wash the cup right away) than any other cup I have. I wish this wasn’t an issue, otherwise they’d be basically perfect. My advice is to get the cups, order some silicone straws, and wash the same day as you use them - making sure to dry them completely before putting the lids back on. Cheers to a tasty latte! Read more
