I needed something that I could access quickly and keep some of my "go to" jewelry pieces right there where I could get to them. My dresser was just getting too crowded with all the different little trays and dishes that I would dump my rings in when I took them off at night. I rotate my rings and necklaces daily and it was just to much having them all over the top of my dresser This arrived and I was pleasantly surprised that it is even better in person. Its nicely made and feels like quality. I also can't believe I didn't notice the handle having the rhinestones.. so that was a little extra surprise that I hadn't even noticed and adds just enough "extra". I almost feel guilty putting it in my drawer but I really did want to keep the top of my dresser clutter free but even with keeping it in my drawer it's still lovely to look at each time I pull it out to access it and feels a little ceremonial when I do . I get to appreciate it for how really pretty it is and if I ever choose to leave it out it's lovely and looks elegant My only wish is that the one side that was designated for necklaces was customizable with some additional inserts. Because I would prefer to put my necklaces in a little divided well as opposed to the whole laying them down and trying to attach them to the little "hooks" because to me that's bit of a waste. I'm sure it works great for others but for me it feels wasteful and would be better utilized for other rings or other items.
