I love it!! It looks and feels like real leather with stitching instead of glue and that nice long strip along the top that bends down the front to attach the fancy closure is quite elegant. I like that it's not a snap but magnetic. I opened it up and was happy to see the quality felt compartments and lifted the top layer to see the bottom one. But I came here to review it and was annoyed to see mine didn't have a mirror. However, just as a lot of the customer pics reveal, the white styrofoam sheet fits so perfectly over the mirror that you can miss! Even after I pulled that out to reveal the mirror, I had to examine it closely to see the protective film to pull off. Perfect!! It's brighter and even more attractive. I've started a mission to pare down my jewelry gathered over the decades and get them organized. I can never find the earrings or necklace I want when I'm dressing. This is my 3rd jewelry box purchase from Glenor. I love their jewelry boxes! This one is a bit larger size wise, than my other 2, but I'm not bothered by the size. I LOVE that there are 25 sections on top and 25 sections on the bottom. They are fairly deep and they hold a lot! I have SO many pairs of earrings, and so many rings, but every thing I own fits perfectly in this, and my other 2 boxes, with plenty of room to spare. You can see by my photos that I have some pretty big rings....and I had no problems putting them in these sections. You can also see that I put around 20 pairs of little earrings <mostly post earrings, or very small dangles>, and there's still plenty of room to add more! My mother passed away last year and I inherited SO much of her jewelry, and that is the main reason I purchased these jewelry boxes. I still have a huge jewelry Armoire filled with jewelry, but this box and the other 2 hod the jewelry that is valuable. The other reason I got these boxes is they fit perfectly in my dresser drawers. I usually put them there when we go away. I've read a lot of the negative reviews, and I just don't understand the one's who complain about the size of the sections. I have pairs of hoop earrings that measure 1.5 inches around and 3 or 4 pair of oblong hoop dangles that are almost 2 inches long, and they fit just fine. <In photo of top tray - these earrings are middle row, far right> Yes, this jewelry box is better suited for post earrings, dangle earrings that are not straight metal that can't "fold in" <for lack of a better word>. I have straight earrings that are 1.5 inches long and don't bend....and they fit fine <photo of bottom tray, first row, center section - 1 of each earring> I even put my mother very old watch <it's in a plastic bag for ore protection> and IT fits just fine!!! <in the photo of the bottom - the watch is middle row, far left>. In the photo of the bottom tray, you can see a Blue Tiffany's jewelry bag. That has a 1 3/4 inch Silver Butterfly Brooch of my mothers - and it fits...at an angle! But it fits and the tray on top of that fits just fine. If people would READ DESCRIPTIONS of what they're buying - there would be SO many less negative reviews and people would be happier. It is NOT the fault of the jewelry box or the maker if it isn't the size you're looking for!!! They actually PROVIDE MEASUREMENTS in the description!!! And GEEZ if it's just not what YOU wanted - DON'T leave a negative review. It's not the boxes fault you don't like it. READ PEOPLE! Reviews we take the time to write help the product, and the seller. If you have a truly honest problem with the product, write a review. Contact the seller BEFORE you write a negative review, because MOST sellers are ready to help fix whatever is wrong. IF you still aren't happy - THEN write a negative review. As a Buyer - your complaints about you "thought it would be bigger" <because you didn't read the description> - DON'T HELP ME. And for Gosh Sake - DON'T write how much you love the product - then give it 1 star!!!!!!!!!!! This jewelry box is great. It is EXACTLY as described. It is very well made, and looks classy ~ in my opinion. I'd be glad to purchase more of these boxes if I need one. The price is great - in my opinion. Ultimately, I ended up deciding I didn’t like how the compartments were stacked one on top of the other. I chose another organizer that was longer, and all compartments were visible at once. And I had the room on my shelf to accommodate such a long box. Also, the ribbon holding the lid up (so you can see, when looking inside to choose an earring), is a little too short, so the lid falls down unless you hold it. But it was beautiful and very nicely made. Leather the stitching was very nice. Not some cheek thing. I would recommend this box. Read more
Just what I was looking for. Made fairly well for the money invested. Needed something for pierced earrings and rings. The size is not huge but the inside division boxes are big enough for the earrings I wear. Small to medium hoops is the largest I go. Decent size and storage capacity. I also have a few necklaces I was able to store without difficulty as long as I carefully put them into the box and did the clasp. Read more
After searching endlessly for somwthing like this, this box is perfect. My only issue is that the top doesnt like to stay up when you open it, you kind of have to make it balance just right. The clasp isa little gaudy looking for my taste, I feel it could've been simpler, but thats just cosmetic. Otherwise the quality is good and does the job. Read more
