Gosh, what can I say other than WOW!! This dress truly is a head turner because it sparkles like the cosmos at night. It's a sequin dress, obviously not hand sewn, but nonetheless very beautifully done. It arrived packaged like fine china, which was perfect because the dress arrived to me unscathed. The sequins are sewn by machine onto a light netting fabric of the same color, then it's lined with a soft matte satiny fabric. It's very, very soft next to the body. The arm and neck holes have a self fabric piping around the entry points so you don't feel any hardness of the sequins on your body. It fit's me most as well as if it were custom made for me. The bottom portion of the dress is a fishtail like look. I'm 5'8" and the dress just barely touches the floor, with heels on it will be just a bit shorter so basically the perfect length for me. The details of the dress are in the changing geometric pattern of the sequin design. It's really stunning on and looking from a short distance away. It looks exactly as it is pictured here on Amazon. The price is about right for a formal dress such as this. It would be way more expensive at a department store. I've already ordered some nude colored sparkly heels to wear with it and now all I need is a crystal or sequin clutch to finish the look. I ordered this for a formal black tie event I have coming up. This dress looks exactly as described. It’s a comfortable medium weight but I did notice even when trying it on the sequins we beginning to shed and make a mess, and that’s only having it on for 10 min. Not the best quality for the price. This fits true to size. I’m only 5’3” and 132 lbs so I ordered the small and with the exception of extra length at the hemline it fits effortlessly without feeling restrictive at all. I am having the hemline altered but you could also add some 3”-4” heels instead if you wanted. Read more

Ok so I'm writing this review as my wife and daughter tell me what to say so here it goes. My daughter is 5ft and weighs about 150 lbs. She typically wears a 14/16 and we got an extra large, so it definitely runs small. I would recommend going a size or two up. The dress is also a bit long for her so it would need to be hemmed. It has some stretch to it so its not rigid. The sequins is nicely done. There is an under layer dress material so it is not see through. So for the money its a very nice dress and good enough for any formal event. My daughter is very happy with it. Other then the 3 weeks to get here its a great buy. Just plan ahead if you need it soon and if you need to make alterations. Read more
