Have enjoyed several styles in this GLNEGE brand bra, all without underwires, and all really comfy. This style is unique in that it's comfy, but also give you a little "oomph" - about 15 years of "oomph!" in my case, which is nice. I remember when my cleavage could also double as a cup holder, and those were indeed the days! The straps are set wide, which is nice if you have any mass to support. This puts the weight on the strongest part of your shoulder and avoids crossing the trapezius (which for me can lead to migraines or neck aches). The lack of underwire is a luxury. To get that push, you'll have a little more structure and padding along the bottom of this bra, and that's fine. If you're like me and rotate through your bras (in seasonable weather) a few times before you wash them, keep in mind you have a lot more padding here to absorb sweat, etc. So if you're also like me in that life is chaotic, and you find a bra where you last flung it and have failed to keep count on how many wears between washes this particular brasserie has endured, you might find that you have a new fragrance all of your own, so just keep that in mind. (And hey, no shame on the "rotate and air out" method - my former favorite brand cost upwards of $60 a bra, and for that kind of outlay, I'm not flinging them in the washer/dryer every wear. Besides, we're presuming that what goes in the bra is clean, and it's not a 120 degree day where even pores you didn't know you had were happily cranking out moisture). Back to the bra - smart design here. In lieu of the underwire, the foundation itself is nicely planned to give you all that lift without all that cutting into your rib. Smart bra! The cups are accommodating as well - I have asymmetrical breasts, and the padding here seems to adjust so I look quite perky and uniform once I'm bra'd up. Not that this really worries me - each breast is uniquely different with different needs and outlooks on the world, and the right one is probably happy to hide a little from all the work that needs to be done and/or unplanned collisions with parcels and tools. Comfy to wear, if you have to wear a bra. Good for more form-fitting clothing that will show off your figure. Overall, quite happy, and happy to have a "comfy" bra that also does some heavy lifting. Pros: the fabric is buttery soft as advertised, the band is generously sized with 4 rows of fasteners and a separate extender just in case you need it. The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable. The bra feels well-made. The box it came in recommends hand-washing, but I washed the bra in a lingerie bag with my normal laundry before wearing and it came out fine. I like that the pads don't move around. The shaping strips do seem to help eliminate bulging around the sides and provide decent lift. Cons: The cup size is a bit smaller than I'd hoped. I wear a 40DD, ordered size2XL per the sizing chart and the cups are just a bit small for me. This wouldn't be a problem for someone with a smaller cup size. It's still wearable, but I find myself having to adjust throughout the day to avoid spill-over and there's not as much separation as I'd like.
