Per instruction, disconnected charger and inserted mouthpiece And product Glo button did not turn on. Reached out to Glo science to seek support - no response. I had noticeable results using this teeth whitening system after just a few uses. It was super convenient to do at home without committing to appointments. It's not cheap but does give great results. It comes with gel pods for a 5 day treatment and you can buy additional 5 day packs on Amazon if you want to do more. I feel like this is something I'd use a few times a year for a week to whiten and maintain my whiter teeth. The refills are normally around $45, but are on sale right now for $29 so I might go ahead and buy a couple of packs to have when I want to use them. Not a bad deal overall considering I don't feel like I need to use this every month. My only real complaint is the micro-usb charging port. Flimsy plug type that breaks a lot and this is 2025 for a device that isn't cheap so I'd expect usb-c at this point. Read more

This GLO Science So Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit comes with a blue LED warming mouthpiece and guard, charger, whitening pods, lip balm, large hardshell case, and small plastic pouch. It does whiten, and it is gentle on teeth. I've used up three pods now and I'm using it once a day, and my teeth are noticeably whiter. It's not a dramatic difference but it's noticeable by others, and more importantly to me, it's evened the color across the teeth. Especially my bottom teeth but upper teeth, too, near the gums was more yellowish and whiter towards the tip, but now they're an even shade across the whole tooth. My teeth have gotten very sensitive with every single whitening strip I've tried, including the ones for sensitive teeth. This kit hasn't made my teeth more sensitive at all, though I did start using pronamel toothpaste just in case. This kit is much slower and more expensive than getting one in-office whitening treatment, but it is gentle and convenient to use at home. It's currently $225 for the kit and I don't think that's a very good value, and replacement pods are $45 for 5 (yikes) so I'll be watching for sales. The pods are supposed to last 3 uses, I believe, but will easily last 5 or 6 if I take it apart and get all the product out of the bottom. Read more

I sip on black coffee throughout the day and have done so for decades. My dentist says it's worse than drinking a cup in one go, but old habits die hard. All that's to say that I never expected my teeth to get any whiter. I've used strips and whitening pens in the past and I've had pretty minimal results. But this GLO Science whitening system actually works, and noticeably whitened my and my wife's teeth after just one use. The gel is easy to apply to your teeth with the included brush applicator. Each gel pack has lasted us well over 3 applications, but the instructions do say to use it within a week, so just keep that in mind. If you follow their whitening recommendations for starting out you'll have no problem finishing a pack before a week. The warming mouthpiece is by far the best part. It's comfortable and is so much better than other methods I've tried. As gross as it sounds, the mouthpiece does a good job of containing the spit that accumulates while you whiten. There's a barrier between your teeth and your lips, so there's far less of a chance of spit leaking. I can't say the same thing for the strips, where usually I'll have a good amount of saliva I'm wrestling to keep in my mouth towards the end of the session. My only little gripe is that the device is charged by micro USB. I have just one other device that I use regularly that charges via micro USB that I'm trying to upgrade to a USB-C option, and it's always a pain to dig out those old cords.
