I was able to set it up easily with the globe app and then added it to Samsung smartthings. I set it to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Works great with Bixby too. I would have bought their lamp but it said Alexa only which is annoying. Read more

Pros: - very bright at highest setting, and adjustable down to a very low glow - integration with Alexa worked perfectly - native app is pretty decent - doesn’t cover second outlet Cons: The motion detection setting would not stay OFF. I don’t want the motion detection option. I would turn it off in the app, then a few days later it would be back on! I contacted the company, and they had me send them some logs. They determined that the device was re-enabling the motion detection itself, so they would replace it. It took about 2 weeks to receive the replacement device, as it was shipped from Canada to the US. Unfortunately, the replacement device has the same problem. At this point, the manufacturer stated it must be a firmware issue that “might” be fixed in a future version. I asked for a refund, and they said they don’t do refunds as they are the manufacturer - I would need to contact the seller. However, because I opted to allow them to replace the device (instead of just immediately returning it) and it took 2 weeks, the return window had closed! I pointed this out to them, and have not heard back. Read more

The motion detector works but why use it? I'm going to run it always on 24/7 full brightness. It uses less than 1 watt and will cost me about 80 cents in energy costs for the full year/24/7. Less than 1 watt is remarkable; I discovered the Alexa energy tool didn't support me entering .8 watt. 🤷🏻♀️. I'm still trying to figure out where to Install it in the house to maximize people value return on investment. I don't like it tucked away in 1 person's room so far. The motion sensor on this product is actually quite invaluable to me if I can leverage it/partner link for other automation projects. Most motion sensors look creepy or ugly. I don't care about the motion sensor auto activating a .8 watt cool looking nite light. I want the sensor on it to automate other stuff and seeing it lite up tells the operator (me) it was triggered; and the guests in the house get to enjoy the pretty colors. This product is quite priceless and invaluable if it can do all the advance stuff I expect from any Smart enabled technology. The global suite App for this nitelite is really nice and snappy. Better than most of it's competition apps. At the end of day it's still a nite lite on it's front cover. It has the potential of being a goldmine to the average Smart Home Operator/admin. Have a great day. Read more

Overall pretty terrible product. Flimsy design, emitted light passes through the plastic in a way that looks cheap and unintentional. “Motion sensing” didn’t seem to work, no matter how much time I spent troubleshooting it. It was inexpensive so I wasn’t expecting much, but you can get much more value out of the Wyze motion-sensing 3 pack for the same price. Read more

There is not a lot of information available to assist in connecting and programming this night light, so leave some time to set it up. Once I set it up and programmed it to function as a wake-up light, it has come on at the programmed time. However, it will not turn off at the programmed time. Instead, I receive a 'network error' notification. I have tried three different locations in the house where I receive a signal on other devices. So I'm not sure why the light turns on and then not off. It will also turn off only using the app, and not the om/off button on the side. The light is also not very bright and does not cast very far. Purchased Jan'25. It's now September and I still can't get this thing to consistently do what I want it to do. The app for Apple devices has several ways to program scheduling and I have no idea why. It's definitely confusing. An update was released and it appears they did make an attempt to condense, but things still aren't straight forward. Every time I think I have it right, it'll do it for a day and then go back to randomly turning on at its own will, not turning on when programmed to, and illuminating the wrong color. The only consistent thing about this device is that it does respond quickly and precisely on-demand. However, it does have a range limit. I initially had it plugged in about 30-40 feet & a few walls from wifi connection points. This shouldn't struggle to stay connected, but it occasionally did. Moved it to within 10" and it stays connected, but it still does whatever it wants. Others have suggested there is no way to completely disable the motion sensor. That may be true and I could live with that if I could have it simply get brighter to max for a minute or so and then revert to the light level I programmed it to (remaining the same designated color the entire time); but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I also only want this illuminating at night. Color: Whoever chose the kelvin points is a moron. I am not sorry to say that whatsoever. WTF can app users not spot on choose 2700K, 3000K, or 4500K??? EX: choices are 2995 or 3005 the slider refuses to land directly on 3000 and the light color rendered from the device will be noticeably off from every light around it. This "smart" device is poor at best. Do not recommend. HIGHLY recommend the Third Reality Matter nightlight. It "blows this out of the water". You can use it with whatever platform you want, does what you program it to do CONSISTENTLY and light rendering is on point. This device does have an esthetic appeal to its design over the Third Reality in that the sensor is hidden (no 1/2-disco ball bulge), but the brains are terrible enough that it's simply not worth it. Sucks I didn't return it, but so glad I didn't buy more of these. GET THE THIRD REALITY *MATTER VERSION* 4PACK WHEN ON SALE FOR BEST VALUE AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY. THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU LIKE THIS POS WILL. Read more
