This product is just as advertised. I love that it has the flavor of canned soups but gluten free and it is shelf stable (Bonus). I can make up as much as I want at any one time without having to open up a whole can of soup. And eating creamy potatoes is now possible for all the gluten free folks in my circle. I'm dairy free and have not had cream of anything soup in any dish for a long time. Found this and gave it a shot. It was great! You have to be careful with the instructions. I'd say less liquid the better. Was quick and easy to make in 1 pot on the stove. I added a few spices to give it a bit more flavor. But it worked and tasted great! I used it in a recipe that called for a can of cream of chicken soup. I had a guest who is gluten free so I tried this. It worked fine in my recipe. I had to cook it before using it which was an extra step, but it thickened and everyone loved the casserole I made and you couldn’t tell that I used anything different than cream of chicken soup in a can. Has anyone else noticed that the description says it’s gluten free and diary free, not vegan. I ordered it because I can’t do gluten or dairy, but I can consume chicken. What I received was not the same! The packaging says it vegan and gluten free not gluten free and dairy free like on the description and picture provided. It says it contains chicken flavoring and other chicken products but that’s not true with the item I received. Very upset since I don’t want to also sacrifice the flavor by removing the chicken aspect. I already can’t eat so many things I thought this was a winner. I haven’t tried it but from reviews I’m assuming I’ll have to add some regular chicken bouillon flavoring to it to make it better. For the price I would expect it to match the description at least.
