I am always finding new uses for these little items. I originally purchased them to put medication on a wound that I got when I fell on the ice and scraped myself. Then I went on a major cleaning spree prompted by Covid-19. I was able to reach into tiny spaces that I could not otherwise clean. I love these wood stick cotton swabs. Working in a medical lab we use this type for everything. So at home its difficult to pick up the standard paper cotton swab. The wood handles of these swabs seem a bit thinner than i am used to and if you put too much pressure on them they will break fairly easily. However for my crafting purposes they are perfect. After using the swab i always find another use for the wood handle before tossing it into the trash. They are great for stirring paint, applying glue etc.. Great value for the money! Read more

I needed these for several hobbies where getting oil and dirt out of gears and wheels is difficult. They are made well, and look like they will last forever, which is good since I got 5 packs of 100, which will take me years to consume. The handle is real wood, and pretty stiff given its diameter. They work out to be less than 2 cents each, so while they will work for multiple cleanings, I generally toss them out as soon as they get the dirt out. Read more

Reasonable price for what you get. None were broken, but that's thanks to Amazon. The additional couple inches these have over a standard "Q" tip will make all the difference in getting at those harder to reach spots, though I will be using these strictly to clean inanimate objects. :) Cotton head doesn't look like it will fray easily.
