3 bulbs went out simutaneously. Went to Big Box Building store and one bulb was $9.97. To save money, I checked on decreasing wattage to 75 watts - price $9.57 per bulb. Outrageous. I would prefer to use a flashlight! Your offer gave me 4 bulbs for about the price of one at Big Box Building store. !!! Thank you for a fair price. Cannot comment on longevity yet. Read more

I get so tired of all the LED lights nowadays and these are a halogen with filament style light. They are the exact right size. They are well built and very functional and sturdy. The price was basically the same as an LED light and the halogen is much more pleasant to use. This is dimmable and I believe is exactly the color it said it was. I have not had one of these new bulbs burn out yet but according to the package if you use it 3 hours a day it should last Almost an entire year. In my house I do not use the lamps this much so I expect them to last quite a while. Read more

I'm giving these bulbs 4 stars because the price is great and they are bright. I bought these for a ceiling fan. The first bulb burnt out in less than 5 days. But, the second bulb has been in for a few weeks and works fine. I don't know if the first bulb was defective or if it was the fault of my fan (it has done this to other bulbs in the past). So if it was a defective bulb, I'd bump them down to 3 stars and say they're cheap and cheaply made and their longevity is a crapshoot. If it was the fault of my fan, then 5 stars for great price and bightness. Read more

So for starters, I bought these without paying attention to the description that showed that these are T-11, not T-12 bulbs. So they don’t fit into a standard candelabra light fixture base. However, it’s impossible to find this size screw l-in halogen bulb for anything close to a reasonable price ($20-$30 PER BULB??). Since my bulbs were going inside white opaque globes, I ended up buying T-11 to T-12 adapters to use With these bulbs so they fit the fixture. It worked out great, and I paid less than $15 total for 4 bulbs and 6 adapters, instead of $30 per halogen bulb at my too-posh lighting store. Read more

Bright but Short-Lived Halogen Bulbs These GMY JDE11 100W halogen bulbs offer strong, warm white light at a very reasonable price. They fit perfectly in ceiling fans and small fixtures with an E11 base, and the brightness is impressive—crisp enough to light up a kitchen or living area without the harsh glare of some LEDs. For the cost of one bulb at a big-box store, you get a four-pack here, which feels like a bargain at first. Unfortunately, longevity is hit or miss. In my experience, one bulb burned out in just a few days, while another lasted several weeks. It’s hard to tell whether that’s a quality control issue or something fixture-related, but consistency seems lacking. They also run quite hot, which is expected with halogens, so make sure there’s good ventilation around your light housing. On the positive side, the color temperature (around 2800K) gives a pleasant, natural glow that flatters skin tones and interiors. They’re dimmable with standard switches, and installation is simple—just avoid touching the glass with bare fingers, as oils can shorten lifespan. Bottom line: These bulbs are bright, inexpensive replacements that do the job—but don’t expect them to last long. Great as a budget-friendly quick fix, but not a long-term solution if you value durability. Read more

Light went on. Used a plastic glove, rather than my grubby hand when installing, so should get a long life out of these. Read more
