2nd UPDATE: we have used the sheet on the bed. It is SO comfortable! The bad odor has gone entirely and I love the fit and the corner bands that keep it in place. I ordered a second sheet in a different color. That one was washed and had no chemical odor at all. Other than the aroma with the first one, these sheets are my favorites of all time. The 16" depth is perfect for the mattress we have that has a gel topper on it. UPDATE: after its 5th wash it smelled okay to our sensitive noses, and has sat in our linen closet since. It smells good now. I will be able to use it. It’s still soft and I’m looking forward to using it. Also, the odor was a chemical one, diminishing with each wash. We use free and clear laundry detergent and dryer sheets, so had no odor masking. I now give it 4 stars instead of 3 and that’s only because of the extra washes needed. Otherwise this product deserves 5 stars. It’s quite possible another sheet from the manufacturer would not have the same problem. If I love this one after use I’ll likely order a second one to find out. It arrived looking oh, so beautiful. It was soft! I loved the corner elastic and the pocket depth was perfect. Washed it before using. Took it out of the washer. Oh, the stench!!! And that foul odor had transferred onto the other items I had washed with it! I washed this sheet FIVE times without putting it on my bed. It still has a faint odor. Not sure I’ll ever be able to sleep on it. Thankfully, the smell left the other items after a second wash, but now I dare not wash anything with this sheet. And after washing it 5x it is unreturnable. That odor was undetectable until washing. And then, like a fresh skunk spray, it wouldn’t leave. I’m giving it a generous 3 stars for its beauty and design, but zero stars for its usability. Read more

I tend to turn like a rotisserie chicken at night and i have always managed to wad myself into the bed sheets because they pop off the mattress and swallow me up. This bedsheet has not done that. I put this on my bed and i do not have to worry about that. This bed sheet holds onto the mattress just like it's stated in the description. Its easy to put on. The color was perfect. These sheets have a silky feeling to them and are very comfortable to sleep on. I have not seen any piling and have been using this brand for over a year now with no issues. Fits wonderfully on my large king sized bed, plus the topper. Goes deep on the corners and holds great with the straps. Haven't had any issues of the sheet coming off at all. Washed and dried well. UPDATE: Went from 3 to 4 stars due to good customer service. I've been through two of these so far. It's lightyears more comfortable than some cotton fitted sheet, and everything has been very thoughtfully designed, but it's VERY fragile. Even when following the laundering instructions, it seems to love developing small holes that immediately turn into a sheet-wide tear PROS: - Comfortable - Smooth (similar to silk) - Thin and breathable - Color doesn't run - Elastic bands in the corner to help it grip and stay on bed corners - Labeled top and side edges - Quite tall/deep to accommodate for thicker mattresses CONS: - A bit pricey - Tears VERY easily Read more

I bought a few other sheets in the past from Amazon that weren’t as expensive as these these were I think $55 after tax but extremely well worth it very cool sheets it would help if I had a little bit thicker mattress they probably meant for like a 16 inch mattress And mine is only 12 or 13 inches but they feel really nice. Really good quality probably gonna buy at least one other sheet and I was really glad that it was just the bottom sheet cause that’s all I really need. I didn’t need a top sheet. I don’t use the top sheet. I don’t like the top sheet and the straps on the bottom will help keep it secure. Definitely would recommend this product. Also, as I’ve gotten older and older, I’m very picky about my sheets and thing I hate most about bottom sheets is that they crinkle up and I’ve been trying to find a brand or a sheet that doesn’t crinkle up and these did but these are such comfortable sheets. THIS SHEET IS FABULOUS!! I can’t say enough about it! We recently got a new mattress that was taller, so we needed a fitted sheet that was deep enough. This one is IT! Has built in straps to help put on (perfect for me, I am 70 with arthritis) plus the straps help hold sheet in place. My husband is a mover at night & making the bed was a nightmare!
