This is one of the few DIY things that I bought that has pretty comprehensive instructions. I really did appreciate that, it was easier to put in than the one that I had installed was to take out. Full disclosure, I actually didn't use the drain plug, because I already had a new drain installed into my sink. I really like how this looks, it has this sleek minimalist look to it. It seems to me made mostly of metal, I'm not going to absolutely say that it is except for the quick disconnects which are plastic. The quick disconnects on this were much easier to connect and disconnect than the ones on the fixture that was already on my sink. Installing it is easy, I think that it works how you would expect it to, because of the quick disconnect. It doesn't leak if you get it installed correctly. I have hard water at my house so I get a lot of hard water stains, these can be a little hard to clean around just because they are circular but that's true of any fixture so it's not a deficit with this fixture itself. The black does show less of the hard water because I have iron in my water, and I haven't noticed water spots or anything on the faucet while I use it either. The water flow is a little bit lower than my previous sink, but it's not enough to where I'm concerned about it. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, I think it looks nice, I think it does what I need it to, I like that it has colored rings around it to tell you whether you have hot water or cold water, I just wish that it had higher water flow. If you contact the company they will send you the adapter fo free, but it did delay our install. We re-did one of our bathrooms and switched to black fixtures, so we needed a faucet to match. The pop up sink stopper is easy to use, and the height of the faucet is great, so you don’t have to touch the sink when washing your hands.
