I'm normally a medium so that's what I ordered. I'm 130lbs and this robe wouldn't even close. I can't imagine how small it would be after washing and drying. I'm returning and looking elsewhere for another one. It's too much of a gamble to try again with another size from this company. Would not recommend. Edit: I decided to return the original and order 2 sizes up. I ordered the XL and it still barely closes. In addition to that, the belt loops are up very high which makes the belt sit just under the boob area. The pockets are placed way too high. The sleeves are two different lengths with about a two inch difference. Luckily, I know how to alter clothing so I'll see what I can do to save this and make it wearable. I don't feel like going to another UPS drop off again to return it because I bought online to avoid going out. All in all, this whole experience was a mess. This robe is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I've purchased so many bathrobes online looking for a bath robe that is the same exact material as a towel. Every robe I've gotten is a soft terry material like that of terry cloth clothing. I don't like the way that material feels on my skin while wet. Finally I found what I've been looking for! This robe basically feels like a bath towel with sleeves. I love it! It's super absorbent and dries me off after a shower. As far as sizing goes, I sized up and it's huge on me. I'm normally a large in clothing. I followed the advice of the other reviews and got an XL and it's very big on me. Granted, I am very short at 5 ft and weigh 140 lbs. My husband tried it on and it fit him nicely. He's 6 ft 190 lbs. I wish I would have gotten my normal size, but I'll make it work. I absolutely love this robe! This is by far the worst fitting robe ever made. The material is ok but this “M” size is bigger than an XXL !!!!!! The sleeves go past the finger tips by about 3”, and the “shirt robe” (that is how it is labeled) is at the ankles !!!!! The material is absorbent. There's not a lot of overlap when belted, it kind of reminds me of a pool or sauna robe. The pockets are phone sized. The construction is a bit rough and it does shed quite a bit, although perhaps a couple of wash cycles will resolve that. This was machine washed cold with heated tumble dry. There are some things I really like about this robe. At 5' tall, it's a great length. The pockets are large and I really like the material. The cotton terry kind of breathes so it doesn't get stifling hot. It's thick and cozy. Read more
