This is a great rangefinder, I really love it. It is true that it doesn’t have a stabilizer but even if you shake a little, by pointing to the flag and holding the button down, the finder will vibrate when the distance is found. Got it as replacement for my lost range finder. And this one is easy to use and the large screen does come handy. The accuracy of the yard is pretty impressive. Just down side is that it does not have magnets on side, meaning you have to keep this rangefinder inside the case or hook it. Wish it had magnet side. Love the size and features, but unfortunately I had bad luck with it. First of all it’s very jittery, and flag lock did not work for me. You had to point and shoot exactly on the flag, otherwise it won’t find the flag. Other units allowed you to shoot near the flag and they would find it no problem, but not this unit. I was hoping for a straightforward and precise rangefinder, but this model ended up feeling more complicated than I expected. For the price, I thought it would offer additional measurement units—like meters or feet—and switch between them automatically, but it seems limited in that area. I’m also not sure what the touchscreen is supposed to add; I haven’t found a clear purpose for it, and it doesn’t make the device any easier to use. While the battery life is solid, the overlay not staying in focus with the background gets frustrating. I’ve used a cheaper rangefinder with nearly the same core features that worked more intuitively for me. This one might appeal to more advanced users, but it wasn’t the right fit for what I wanted.
