I purchased the 68-inch version of this umbrella and it just arrived yesterday. This is the largest golf umbrella I have owned to date and its coverage is massive. As with other umbrella's, a 68" umbrella offers 60" of coverage. This is also stated on the product description page. Why? Because the 68" measurement includes the arc from tip to tip, vs measuring straight across where it measures 60". The foam padded handle is large and comfortable, with the auto open button just above the handle. When pressed the umbrella smoothly opens as you expect. While the umbrella doesn't offer auto close, it's very simple to pull the center download where it locks into place. The umbrella fabric is lightweight and water just beads and rolls off of it. The page description states "Easy Operation: The semi-automatic opening and closing design allows for one-handed operation by pressing a button, leaving the other hand free." but as mentioned the closing design is manual, so it's not a one-handed operation. Thanks to the fiberglass frame the umbrella is very lightweight. While the double canopy makes it more wind resistant than some umbrellas, a strong wind will still likely turn this umbrella inside out. There are two velcro straps that keep the umbrella wrapped tight, and each velcro strap has a small "TopShade" logo on it. Very little branding, which I prefer. The umbrella comes with a matching sleeve which easily slides over the closed umbrella. The sleeve also sports a shoulder strap. Overall this is nice, large umbrella that looks great and will protect you from sun and rain while golfing or walking. I deducted one star because the umbrella does not offer one-handed close feature as mentioned in the product description. Read more

This is an amazing umbrella! I am always on the hunt for these sort of walking stick style umbrellas not just for the aesthetic but for the size.(68 inch) I want to be fully covered and shielded from the elements and I don't play about that! This umbrella meets all my needs. It is massive! I feel not only covered but I feel almost cozy under it. The double layers protect against the sun and offers amazing shade. This is definitely a "share" umbrella, it is big enough for you and your friends! It is extremely well made and has held up well so far, for the money, this is top tier! Fantastic umbrella. I’m not supposed to be in the sun much, and this umbrella is big enough to sit under at a park. It’s bigger than it looks and the color is very pretty. I live in a windy state and it seems to hold up pretty well. The sleeve it comes with has a strap so it’s easy to carry. It’s not very heavy for its size. It opens very smooth and closes just as smooth. No collapsing when the wind was high, so that’s a big win for me. Read more

I ordered the TopShade Golf Umbrella from Amazon, and it was shipped to me quickly—so quickly, in fact, that I was still looking for my errant ball when the Amazon delivery truck pulled up to my front door. I enjoy playing golf in the summer, but the heat and sun really take a beating on my skin. My wife often complains that I should be protecting my skin better, but sunscreen only helps to a certain extent. I’ve been looking for an umbrella to use on my Clicgear golf cart to help protect me during brighter days on the course. When I saw this umbrella available on Amazon, I quickly ordered it, thinking it could be a good solution moving forward. Opening the package revealed a very large umbrella. I immediately knew it would provide ample shade during sunny rounds. In addition, the umbrella is light enough to fit comfortably on my golf cart when I walk the course. My wife commented on it when she saw it and mentioned that this is a piece of equipment I should have had a long time ago. The construction of the umbrella is absolutely top-notch. It is lightweight and made of quality materials that should help it hold up to constant sunlight, gusts of wind, and the occasional bump while loading it into my car. I have no doubt this umbrella will last for quite some time. Aesthetically, this umbrella looks like any other golf umbrella on the market, which works just fine for me. Value-wise, you might be able to find a better deal at a big-box store during a sale, but for what you get at the price paid, I believe this umbrella is more than worth it.
