Really a verbal look at the history of golf course architecture in America and the major practitioners past and present and with a bit of ego stroking i would possibly allege but hey some of the golf work is just superb - very little to do with actual design or info - but quite interesting re the history and background info but of little real value if your chasing actual golf design info or architectural tips in my humble opinion - but as i said still interesting cheers rob Read more

The video covers the large concepts of architecture and biggest names over the 20th century. It misses out on some important elements of architecture, such as how the course location (parkland vs. seaside) will drive choices the architect makes. I liked it because I'm happily amazed it was made at all; as a student and afficianado of golf course architecture, I was a little disappointed. Read more
