I've only used this product once so far for removing the protecting tape for my CGM. After about 30 seconds the tape almost fell off!. It didn't seem to work on the Libre 3 CGM though but my not have let it soak enough. Will keep using this and grateful to find something that allows the coverings to be removed painlessly. The only downside, a minor one, is it leaves an oily film on the skin. Easily taken care of with an alcohol wipe or soap and water. Overall a great product I would buy again and recommend. Read more

I bought this because it's Goo-Gone brand and have had excellent success with the other products. The fact that it's skin safe, alcohol free and sting free, certainly helped my decision to buy. I use glucose monitor protective covers, which stick great, but are so hard to remove and leave seriously irritating residue. I've tried the typical medical adhesive remover pads that don't work even after using 15 of them and rubbing like mad - and those stink and are super oily. The Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover is not oily, does not stink (kinda has a citrus scent) and works fast with just a few gentle swipes to remove fresh adhesive. The Goo-Gone also quickly and gently removed 2 day old adhesive residue that I had just given up on. Well worth the price and it's a huge quantity of 8 oz. It's also made in the US. Read more

I love this stuff. I'm a type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump and a lot of body hair, and removing adhesive patches has become a real problem. Wipes didn't do much good, but this stuff is great! I dribble a few drops on whatever needs removing and let it sit for a few minutes, at which point it peels right off. It does, however, leave a gross and sticky residue behind, which I HIGHLY recommend you wash off immediately, especially if you are hairy. I'll get a paper towel saturated with hot, soapy water and scrub my skin until it feels clean, then wipe off and dry. No more red marks or torn-off hair! Now, the bad news: the bottle SUCKS. Specifically the pouring spout/lid. It leaks like crazy whenever I tip it to pour, even just a little, and stains fabric with oil spots. I plan to buy a dropper bottle and transfer it, but it's an annoying step, and expense, that I'd rather not have to deal with. Hence, I can only give this 4 stars. Still good stuff, tho. Edit: I have just discovered that if you leave the Goo Gone to work for about 8 minutes, until it has absorbed more fully into the bandage, much less residue it left behind when you remove it! I only had to use an alcohol wipe. No scrubbing required. Edit 2: I got the aforementioned perfect result once, then never again, but after some experiments, I think I finally cracked it. It is most effective to use this product when you are fresh from the bath or shower, or after a hot compress. Apply the goo gone, let it sit for five minutes, peel it off. This has been my best result so far. Of you hate the oiliness, use some rubbing alcohol or wipe to clean it off. Works like a charm. Read more

This does the trick for getting medical adhesive off, but it still smells like goo gone, and leaves an oily residue that makes it difficult to place new medical equipment in a similar area. If you are able to completely change the location of your adhesive each time you change a site, this will be fine. Read more

I bought the Goo Gone bandage and adhesive remover in preparation for removing a 7-day Zio heart monitor. I did just that today and I am in awe. I used a cotton swab dipped in the Goo Gone, carefully slid it under the monitor parts, and it came off so quickly and pain free! What a Godsend this product is. I highly recommend it! Read more
