Wow what a delight! From the moment I put my fork into the curds, and heard the bubleishush sound of it separating from the other curds I knew this was going to be heaven. It's a very mild yet distinct, pleasant, crisp, clean taste. And you can REALLY tell the difference between this and all the non-organic dairy products. I'm won over about organics when it comes to dairy products now, despite that it's costly and I'm on a seniors' fixed income. (The milk products have gotten so bad of late, truly tastes like I'm drinking dung milk... It's so awful, I'm not lying, there's just something wrong with that taste. It's even detectable in their ice cream. Can we talk? And I was beginning to lose hope and get depressed about it all, to be blunt, Then I broke down and tried organics! ♥️ There's an organic egg as well, that each hen gets 108 sq ft, called "pasture raised." All the other hens get just 2 SQ ft no matter if it's organic and what they say such as free range, etc. There's also milk that is a 5th generation farming family I found that are premier regenerative organic dairy for exemplary farming of soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem function that has a milk called "A2/A2". So, I'm touting all these organic horns because I'm not sure I can get the rest of my reviews written, I'm plum out of juice and not sure if you can cross reference by reviewers anyway. To recap, this cottage cheese is delectable and creamy, just like I had at my grandma's house when I was a little girl. Plus the eggs and the milk I found, I give the exact same response: as good as when I was young at grandma's house. Delctible! I don't give reviews for groceries very often (except when they are bad, then you have a duty to) but when something is this profoundly different in the market, I feel an obligation to take the time out to make a statement. This cottage cheese is so good, double cream says it all. I buy it at Whole Foods every month. It’s affordable, good for you and I have zero complaints. Whole Foods is the only place I can find the double cream version. It’s the closest thing to Knudsen 4% before they ruined it with additives for shelf life. If you like cottage cheese for whatever reason, please try this one. Good Culture is my hero. I quit buying ricotta after finding this, that’s how versatile it is. Marinated heirloom tomatoes, manicotti, berries or pears or just some cracked black pepper with this creamy cottage cheese. Yum :) Read more

I wish more stores carried the Double Cream Good Culture Cottage Cheese. It is very hard to find. Not even all of the Whole Foods Stores carry it. Good Culture is a great brand and the Double Cream is over the top good!! If someone tells you they do not like cottage cheese, make them try this brand double cream. They will change their mind!! So good on everything or by itself. It is thicker, creamier, more decadent. The texture is superior. Some of the old school cottage cheese brands are very wet, runny, and have big chunky curds. This one is nothing like that at all. The double cream has very, very tiny curds almost close to a whipped ricotta texture. So thick and a heavy cream flavor. It is great on toast, in a salad, in scrambled eggs, eat as a dip with chips or veggies, cottage cheese bowls, the options are endless. The best!! A great way to get more protein in your diet. I just wish it was easier to find in stores. Read more
