Good Culture Pasture Raised Plain Cream Cheese is a standout for anyone who values quality and health in their food. It’s crafted with care, using pasture-raised milk and cream as the main ingredients, which sets it apart from many other brands that rely heavily on additives or stabilizers. The taste is rich and naturally creamy, without being overpowering—perfect for spreading on bagels, adding to recipes, or enjoying straight from the tub. You can really tell the difference that real, wholesome ingredients make: it’s flavorful, smooth, and satisfying. For those mindful of what goes into their diet, this cream cheese hits the mark. It’s both health-conscious and delicious—a rare combination that makes it a must-try for anyone seeking a better-tasting, cleaner option. Read more

Creamy but much more tangy than traditional cream cheese. But I love Good Culture products and will definitely purchase this again. Read more

Very high quality cream cheese spread. A bit tangy and tart - don't expect it to taste like regular cream cheese, which is not as tangy. It is very thick, but I like that because you use less of it. With the whipped stuff, I slather it on! Read more

Vast majority of the brands available in grocery stores have all sorts of additives. Gums annoy me the most because they make the texture unnatural, like marshmallow and I don't need that in cream cheese. Most cream cheese have them. THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT! Only regular ingredients, nothing that doesn't belong there. Yes its a little on the sour side because of the way its made but I love the taste. I wish more manufacturers would opt not feeding us garbage. Read more

While we love the Good Culture cottage cheese and never buy any other brand, their cream cheese "spread" was a disappointment. It's kind of like expecting traditional mayonnaise and getting surprised with Miracle Whip instead. Not that there's anything wrong with Miracle Whip per se, but I consider it a sandwich condiment and not actually a true mayonnaise, and it tends to overpower certain ingredients. (When I was younger, I wondered why my neighbor's mum's tuna sandwiches always tasted better than my own mum's, and discovered that the difference was that in our house, Miracle Whip was what my parents preferred, and my neighbors used Hellman's mayo.) The taste of the Good Culture cream cheese spread had a unique tang that didn't complement a bagel -- or anything else I would normally use it for -- and my partner didn't like it either. He thought it might be OK mixed with other ingredients to make a veggie dip, but if you're expecting a traditional, mellow cream cheese flavor (we usually buy Gina Marie natural cream cheese, made with just salt, cream, and milk), you might find the cultures in this brand a bit unexpected. But this is only our opinion, and maybe fans of Miracle Whip will enjoy it. Read more
