We bought these probiotics for my dog who struggles to use the bathroom sometimes. I tell you what, after buying and giving her these, we've had to start carrying around two poop bags on our walks because sometimes she surprises us! It definitely seems to be helping her digestion. The smell isn't too strong, so it's good. Size wise, my dog is a 15 lbs daschund mix, and she has no problem eating these. The quality of them are great as well along as the packaging. The health benefits are clearly there as it has even helped with some irritation she used to experience on her back. Great value for your money here, and would recommend for any dog owner as a little daily additive to make your dogs meals more fun! Read more
These probiotic chews are small are do not pose any hazard to dogs when consuming. They seem to break apart easily. My bordercollie takes them without issue, but my pointer will not eat these , so I have to break into food. They are are brown and resemble kibble but easy to crush and hide in food. Everything occurs in the gut, and those gimmies give me peace of mind ensuring my dogs have nutrients to maintain proper gut health Read more

Our 7-year-old Labradoodle suddenly stopped eating. After a blood test, he was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis, a tick-borne, bacterial infection. He was placed on Doxycycline and given injections for pain and appetite support. Unfortunately, he still wouldn’t eat and lost more weight; he wouldn’t even eat his favorite treats. We felt mortified and helpless. Further x-rays, a sonogram, and other blood tests finally revealed Atypical Addison’s Disease, which is an endocrine condition in dogs, as well as humans. He needs to take Prednizone for the rest of his life, which is certainly controllable and easy to monitor with periodic blood tests. We feared he had cancer. Our vet also suggested administering a prebiotic/probiotic supplement like Purina PRO PLAN to aid with our doodle’s digestion now that he is eating again. When I saw this Pet HealthWorks Good Tummy Probiotic Chews for Dogs become available, I felt lucky. This product has the NASC Quality Seal from the National Animal Supplement Council. It’s “Manufactured in the USA from Globally Sourced Ingredients” in an “FDA Registered Facility.” It’s a Pre, Pro, and Postbiotic supplement, “proven effective in 137 studies,” that’s beef liver flavored with various other recognizable ingredients to help support healthy gut function. Because our doodle dropped 7 lbs., he now weighs 40 lbs. and according to the label, only needs to be given 2 of these Good Tummy soft chews. When I first peeled open the safety seal, our doodle was anxious to eat some. He definitely enjoys them and is now used to being fed his allotment right after his breakfast. We make sure he gets to drink plenty of water because of the fiber contained in these chews. Within just a few days, his stools started firming up. He’s already gained back a pound in a week and a half. (We are feeding him more food, too, of course.) The current price of $29.99 is comparable to the liver flavored Purina PRO PLAN FortiFlora 30 ct. box of sachet powders that’s also offered on Amazon. These Good Tummy chews are nicer because they can be given to your dog like special treats. I mostly appreciate the NASC Quality Seal ensuring this is a healthy and helpful product to aid his drop in weight and his recovering “metabolism and endocrine issues” for a long and wholesome life. I got these for my dog because he was on an antibiotic that was wrecking his stomach. I can tell he enjoys them a lot because he runs towards me when I open the container. He gets two a day, based on his weight. They’re small enough for him to chew without any issues. He’s a French bulldog so he struggles with certain treats sometimes. They’ve helped keep his tummy in check while he takes his medicine without causing any more trouble or allergies. I’m happy with how well they’ve worked and would get them again. Read more
I decided to try the Good Tummy supplement for my 15-year-old Chihuahua, as we’re doing everything we can to support her health as she ages. At first, she seemed put off by the smell and didn’t want to try it. However, once I broke the tablet into smaller pieces (it’s soft and chewable), she ate it right away. Surprisingly, she seemed to enjoy it, despite being picky with both textures and smells, especially now that she’s missing several teeth. That was a big plus. The product offers 3-in-1 benefits: prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. Time will tell if it truly improves her digestion, but I’m hopeful. For now, I’m giving it 4 stars, mostly because the size of the tablet might be too big for very small breeds like mine (under 9 pounds). Still, it’s easy enough to break apart, and she’s had no issues eating it that way. Read more
The chewable little nuggets are a real lifesaver for our "babies!" Unfortunately, their bowels have been sluggish or not at all. But we have also had some family/home issues that have interfered with their normal routine, so they did seem stressed lately too. They eat but not as much and their outdoor time was unproductive. We always like to try natural food and supplement products, so we tried these to see if the probiotics work for them as they do for us humans. Absolutely so! They saw improvement fairly quickly...in just a few days...both brother and sister! The last vet appointment showed they were both over 90 lbs. and need the highest dose, 4 soft chews. With only 60 chews per jar, that is something that hurts my purse, but it is worth it and easier than other methods. It's been hard finding plain pumpkin in the stores, so this is a better option. Plus, this has actually the prebiotic, probiotic, and postbiotic ingredients...so yes, it is worth the money. Our big babies are more active now that they got the relief their guts needed.
