These were so cheap, so I was a little concerned and that only grew as I saw reviews that showed people getting less than advertised and or, different, dull colors. Still, for the price, I crossed my fingers and ordered. We've had them a few weeks and generally use at the end of braids. They are small and wouldn't do for a full ponytail for my thick haired 10 yr old, but they're great for pigtails on the thin-ish haired 8 yr old. We're not particularly careful with with them either. Sometimes want a really good all day or night hold on those braids so.. I'm guilty of stressing hairties to get them tight. I also temporarily store them on a hairbrush handle and transfer to proper storage only once or twice a week.. so they are stretched more than they aren't.
