GOOLOO A7 Jump Starter with Air Compressor 6000A 160PSI 12V Car Battery Jumper Starter Portable Booster Pack 12-in-1

Very powerful. To test it, I disconnected the battery in my diesel tractor and used this jump starter in its place. It easily started and ran the tractor - something other jump starters I’ve tried couldn’t do. The tire inflator is also powerful and fills car tires much more quickly than other portable inflators I own (though not as quickly as a tank air compressor can.) The accuracy of the compressor preset gauge is impressive, with readings matching a known accurate Jayco very closely. The top fold-away handle is very convenient. The air hose is a bit too short but well made with a high quality clamping tip. The readout display is bright and easy to understand, however it takes some practice getting used to changing settings and values with short and long button presses. A small annoyance: The A7 Gooloo doesn’t remember its last setting, so when it’s shut off between tire fills you have to do a new setup procedure all over again - a PITA that I’m willing to put up with given all the positives of this unit. The GOOLOO brand name sounds like any number of the millions of cheap "knockoff" brands available from overseas, but has developed a reputation for well functioning products which have routinely outperformed competitors in 3rd party reviews (project farm et al). I liked that this slightly larger yet still very portable version gives both jump start and inflation protection along with a deep reservoir (88Wh) with 800 cranking amps til approximately 50% capacity. The primary attachments (jumper cables/inflator tube/valve) feel quality made and come with almost too many attachments for various ball needles etc., though the seperate blower tube for inflating/deflating air mattresses etc. is flimsy and I expect to be quickly damaged or lost, but is not what I purchased this product for. I also like that this starter has a flashlight for night time repairs along with flashing SOS for emergencies. So far the compressor/inflator functions as advertised, though I've not had a chance to test the jump start function. I will report back any issues with function or longevity. Read more

Newly purchased & arrived a couple of days ago. Went through instruction manual, including the online one. Everything seems to function as stated. Not everything was stated in either the quick start or online version of the manual. Nothing present about how to assemble or use the inflation tube and the adapters although it is fairly obvious by inspecting the parts and unit as to how to put them together. The units set by the M button should be set to PSI as the default setting when sold into the USA market. It does not seem to retain PSI after you set it. Nothing in the manual discusses how to save the units after selecting, so you don’t have to mess with it in an emergency. Truck tires for pickups need set to 70-80 PSI. Only the last icon of M pre-sets allows adjustments that high. Also recharging the unit every three months is the main maintenance requirement. I’ve not tested the jumping function yet but it is going into my diesel pickup with dual batteries and once I figure out how to test it there and if successful then it gets a 5 especially if it still works in five or more years especially so if it is good for 10 years. Very powerful for such a small package, and value for the money. THe lenth of cable is a bit short but just enough to get the job done so also a benefit. It is very easy to use, although the air pump portion is easy to trigger. The Battery Life I can get 2-3 jumps on my 7.3L and then I'll need to charge it. Overall I like the design and it wil be carried around on all of my trips going forward. I may purchase one for all of my trucks and vans. Read more

AVOID ALL A-SERIES MODELS!!! Absolute garbage. First, I bought the a3. I'd get maybe 2 attempts at jumping my van (GMC Savannah) & it would be dead. A3 wouldn't take a charge after that. So, I ordered the A7 thinking more amps would solve the issue/I got a bunk unit. I charged the A7 fully it as soon as I took it out of the box & it jumped my van without issue. Drove to work, came back to my van after my shift & the cold weather killed the battery again. I got 1 attempt at jumping it (unsuccessfully), and the battery in the gooloo a7 was dead. It won't even charge after that. My friend has the GT3000 & it works great. I've jumped the same van 3 times using his unit & he never even plugged it in between uses. Read more
